For the fourth year in a row, Creative Loafing photography is a finalist in the Association of Alternative Newsmedia Awards. CL won the award in 2010 and 2012. This year's submission was made up of nine images by photographers Joeff Davis, Dustin Chambers and Brandon English.
The rain on Sunday afternoon did not stop the large crowd of pedestrians that came out to enjoy Atlanta Streets Alive. The Atlanta Bicycle Coalition partnered with Mayor Kasim Reed to shut down 2.7 miles of Peachtree Street from 2-6 p.m. as people walked, skateboarded, Hula-Hooped, ran, danced, and enjoyed the city from a different perspective.
