Peachtree Village International Film Fest continues, Avery Sunshine show tonight

Wondering where some of the CL crew will be tonight? At a couple of events sponsored by our partners, of course!

The Peachtree Village International Film Festival continues tonight, and is hosting a bevy of activities with the theme "Black Hollywood Weekend." Tonight, there's a super exclusive party with music by DJ Tron. While the location is being kept secret until tickets are purchased, we'll throw you a hint: It's at a new lounge on Edgewood Avenue.

Also tonight, Avery Sunshine headlines a show at Variety Playhouse brought to Atlanta by way of Britain, courtesy of Brian Hurst of Julie Dexter kicks things off, with Live Tropical Fish in the middle. Given the consistently soulful, entertaining and quality programming to come from Hurst's podcasts and radio shows, I'm expecting the same tonight — but better because it's live! Plus, there will be fun and games, literally, during the show. Walk up to the box office for tickets. $25-$27.50. Show starts at 8:30 p.m.
