Fernbank Museum is hosting Fright Night as part of its regular Martinis and IMAX series, and they're asking the question: What happens when good proms go bad?
Get into an '80s vibe and feel free to wear your goriest or most glam prom costume, and bring your date or come stag for a screening of Carrie (you'll need to reserve tickets in advance for the 8 or 10 p.m. shows). It's in addition to live music by cover band Flux Capacitator, killer cocktails, and an IMAX film of your choice. (We recommend Galapagos, which is playing in conjunction with the museum's Darwin exhibit.)
Free-$12. 6:30 p.m.-midnight.

Oliver Cesair is a self-taught artist who listens, looks and learns from other artists. While living in a loft
community with Georgia State and Georgia Tech artists, Olivier was birthed as an artist by picking up a paintbrush after being asked by another painter/published artist to paint.
His first painting is titled “Power,” and was inspired by seeing the pain of other artists selling their paintings to pay for rent.
With that perspective in mind — the business of art — Oliver offers all purchasers of his original work an opportunity to partner with him in his regional giclee business. Utilizing the Internet and cutting-edge technology, Oliver offers his paintings with advertisements of 2D scan codes and a bright array of colors that will blow you away into the abstract nonobjective realm of Oliver.
His website is www.olivier123.com, his Facebook is Oliver Cesair, and find him on Twitter @go2olivier. Find the eclectic's artist box at Capital City Package Store - 784 Collier Road Northwest, Atlanta, GA.
Jesse “Commence” Jager has been part of the Mindzai team for nearly five years and he comes and
goes as frequently as the CSX cars he hops. Although not formally trained in art, Jesse found inspiration
in the urban street art and BMX scenes, and that can be seen in his personal designs, as well as his paid
commissions. Jesse pretty much flies below the radar but has been part of several smaller art shows over
the past few years. His creative cartoon characters can be seen scrawled over legal mediums all over the
city, as well as the "Creative Loafing Is the Illuminati" box he designed — and yes, the theme is very similar to the box that Jesse's colleague at Mindzai, King Gorilla, did. They didn't do it on purpose, promise. In the meantime preview the location of his art box in Southern Wine & Spirits - 3400 Northside Pkwy NW # A, Atlanta, GA.
Aside from being an art school dropout, hip-hop flunky, tour DJ and proud father, Sam manages Mindzai Creative's screenprint operations, designs apparel and is the mastermind behind the illustrations of Mindzai's quarterly Hell Naw! event. This guy finds inspiration around every corner and believes a truly high-end vodka is about as rare as a white whale — and we’ll toast to that! This box formerly resided at Tower Beer Wine & Spirits - 2161 Piedmont Road Northeast, Atlanta, GA, but has since gone missing. Know where it is? Let us know!
HOBE's body of work stretches across the U.S. and has been shown at several well-known venues and establishments. His dogged pursuance of perfection has allowed him to travel the South extensively, looking for inspiration wherever he can find it.
Currently based out of Atlanta, HOBE's ultimate desire is to encourage the youth to achieve their greatest potential despite adversity, and to enrich the lives of others through the beauty of his art. Which you can experience at HOBE's box location, Starbucks - 1544 Piedmont Road Northeast, Atlanta, GA.
We wish we could say we knew where the hell he’s from or what it is he does when he’s not in the Mindzai Creative office, but we didn’t even know he was designing one of these boxes until he showed up with one in hand. If you can get your mitts on any of his works of art, count yourself lucky because you’ve successfully snatched up a little piece of ATL street art history folks. Love this box? Checkout it's new home at Green's - 2614 Buford Highway, Atlanta, GA.
