Events Fright Night goes down Friday at Fernbank

Say that three times fast!
Fernbank Museum is hosting Fright Night as part of its regular Martinis and IMAX series, and they're asking the question: What happens when good proms go bad?
Get into an '80s vibe and feel free to wear your goriest or most glam prom costume, and bring your date or come stag for a screening of Carrie (you'll need to reserve tickets in advance for the 8 or 10 p.m. shows). It's in addition to live music by cover band Flux Capacitator, killer cocktails, and an IMAX film of your choice. (We recommend Galapagos, which is playing in conjunction with the museum's Darwin exhibit.)
Free-$12. 6:30 p.m.-midnight.
