2012: The Year in Pictures
December 27, 2012
It’s nearly impossible to choose just a handful of photographs from the thousands of images that were shot for Creative Loafing to represent this year. So instead of choosing pictures from the biggest news stories for “The Year in Pictures,” my assistant photo editor and I simply chose our favorite photographs. Often because of design, a story’s content, or an editor’s decision, the photographers’ favorite pictures don’t always end up being published. And when they do, sometimes they’re cropped in a way that doesn’t necessarily show the image the way the photographer intended. So we looked at almost every photograph we shot over the last year and chose these 19, our favorite images from 2012. ENJOY!
