FELLINI'S PIZZA: No matter what 'hood you choose to roam after dark, chances are a jumbo slice at one of Fellini's seven metro Atlanta locations is just a short drive (or stumble) away. Each is open until at least midnight seven days a week. Monday-Saturday, Fellini's Buckhead, Ponce, Howell Mill, and Roswell Road locations have you covered until 2 a.m.
HONG KONG HARBOUR CHINESE RESTAURANT: Whether you're studying late, driving home from an indie flick at the Tara, or getting straight after hours of partying, this is the perfect spot to refuel with spicy hot and sour soup, Cantonese fried noodles, a platter of barbecued pork, or wraps filled with crunchy moo goo gai pan and plum sauce. Open until 3 a.m. on Friday and Saturday nights, until 1 a.m. the rest of the week.
VICTORY SANDWICH BAR AND EMPORIUM: Come for the $4 sandwiches such as the Hambo, with prosciutto, mozzarella, arugula, apple and reduced balsamic, and stay for the $4 Jack and Coke slushies. There's also ping pong in the back. Open till 2 a.m.
OCTOPUS BAR: This place does not have a sign. It doesn't really start serving food until around 11 p.m., when the main restaurant, East Atlanta Village's So Ba Vietnamese, closes. You can only sit on the porch. And you might spend some money. That said, there's no better spot for hip Asian food after seeing a band at the Earl or working a shift at a restaurant. Open until 2:30 a.m.
TAQUERIA EL REY DEL TACO: This one's far out on Buford Highway, so you better know a sober friend with a car. The carnitas on a handmade tortilla is the best taco in Atlanta, the whole menu is cheap as hell, and the crowd is cooler than anything on your campus. Open until 5 or 6 a.m.
TACO CABANA: Taco Cabana is the Waffle House of taco joints. Whether you're pulling an all-nighter or in need of some post-bar, pre-hangover padding, follow the hot-pink neon sign at the corner of Piedmont Avenue and Cheshire Bridge Road for cheap and tasty Mexican grub, 24/7.
DELIA'S CHICKEN SAUSAGE STAND: Craving a pork- and filler-free "hot dog" at 1 a.m.? Between Friday and Sunday night, the Moreland Avenue eatery is open 24 hours offering up the Hot Mess (link sausage, chili, cheddar cheese, jalapeños, "comeback" sauce), the Gunn Slinger (chorizo chicken sausage, guacamole, salsa, fresh jalapeños), and more.
