Delicious vegan food is one reason why the number of vegans has doubled in less than 3 years. Here's a video to help everyone understand why so many people are making this life affirming choice: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fKr4HZ7ukSE

Looks like more fun times in Atlanta, hope everyone is having a good week so far.
Looks like more fun things happening in Atlanta.
Tony is right! Royal Castle was better than either one. There were two of them here in SRQ when I was a kid. Personally, I like both WC and Krystal, and the biggest difference seems to be where you get them. They vary from one restaurant to the next. In general, the ones that are attached to gas stations are likely to be inferior. But if it matters (and it probably doesn't), WCs are less unhealthy than Krystals: 14 g of carbs vs. 20.
$75??? Good Lord !!!
Craft Beer empire...paradox?
I prefer White Castle precisely for what someone else referred to as "slimy" buns. I HATE Krystal's buns. I also don't like the condiments they put on them. When I need that fix and have to eat Krystals, I have to remember to tell them not to put anything on them except onions and cheese. White Castle's fries (which no longer only come in one size!) are much, much better, too. You don't go to either of these restaurants for stuff that isn't burgers and fries. If you choose to get chicken or onion rings or any of that other shit, it's your own fault.
Really? You post an article entitled "The difference between Krystal and White Castle" only to tell people there isn't any difference? Pure genius. Thanks for doing your homework for us.
Krystals meat is pre-boiled. White Castle's are not. You'll only get food poisoning from White Castle once in your life before you cease to be a patron. The buns are different, as well.
^You seemingly make the same banal, humdrum, lackluster comment every week or so. The repetition has drained it of any meaning or good feelings. Is it because you can't think of anything else to say?
Oh my heavens! I have GOT to get one of these!
How could I get one? I think it'd be great to have.
"Coffee, tea or lost luggage?"
I am an addict of either brand, but much prefer Krystal. I once ate a "suitcase" of 24 Cheese Krystals with an additional 2 in Decatur, Alabama in 1987. I was in the U.S. Marines and quite drunk. I probably would have eaten more if I had been stoned. I was burping Krystal burgers the next morning running 5 miles in formation at Redstone Arsenal!
Krystals are slightly bigger than White Castle and do not have the money saving holes in the beef patty. They are not chintzy with their amount pickles, which are an absolute must in each bite, along with mustard. I have considered buying a franchise here in Kansas City, but they do not go this far west! I would be my best customer!
All of these events sound like fun, hope a lot of folks are enjoying them and thanks for sharing them.
Here's what I had for Thanksgiving supper: Two boneless, skinless chicken tenders with salt, pepper, and a smidge of Old Bay seasoning. Aaaaand, for my vegetable I had EIGHT Brussels sprouts. My, what a meager meal. Yes, a few days before Thanksgiving I was told that my liver was very messed up from years of eating crappy food and too much of it. I was told to eat no more than 20 grams of carbs a day. No more onions, no more bread, cornbread, rolls, potatoes, rice, pasta, peas, carrots, cereal, milk, ice cream, gravy, stuffing, cranberries. This was a huge blow because I already had to give up lots of things when I got diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes in 2008. But, you know what? I'm damn thankful for finding this out before my liver completely failed. So, while everyone is cramming gravy and mashed potatoes and stuffing and pumpkin pie down their eager gullets, I'm alive and learning that is IS possible to get through life with only 20 grams of carbohydrates a day.
I am a professor of biochemistry, medicine, physics, onions, nuclear technology, hamburgerology, and psychiatry. I grew up in New York City so I have had many White Castle burgers. I spent 10 years in Miami Florida so I also had many Royal Castle burgers. And I spent 10 years in Atlanta so I have had Krystal burgers galore. Even though I was raised on White Castle, they are too mushy compared to Krystal burgers. The best were Royal Castle but they are no more except for two stores that I have never frequented. If you would like to read my PhD thesis comparing the three, go to www.BSArtists.com and click on my name.
Good luck Garron!
Doug, no fun intended. I take my membership in the cult very seriously.
Yours eggly, Brad
This was supposed to be funny, right?
It's just a restaurant...chill.
