My friend was turned away at the door by security for wearing a white v neck t shirt. I ended up going in with my other friends and someone else inside is wearing a white v neck t shirt as well. I asked the four security guards outside why some pearingople we a v neck tee were allowed in and others weren't. One of the security guards then asked me to show them the person inside who was wearing the same thing as my friend. I did so and they responded that that the individual insidd was there before they arrived for duty. I told them that regardless of whether they were working earlier that didn't matter and businesses must be consistent with their dress code policy. I was then told "don't worry about what other people are wearing". I pushed the matter further and said that letting some people and not other is discrimination and was the told to "have a good time or get out". Not only is this bad service, it's illegal to have inconsistent dress code policies. It gets better (or worse depending on your sense of humor). When my friend was turned away for wearing the white v neck t shirt he was told by security to get another shirt and they told him to try the clothing store next door which is called God is Dope. Mind you this occurred around 12:30am on Saturday (I.e. late on a Friday night). The clothing store God is Dope was open past midnight which is very strange. After getting into the argument with security and leaving Mother's around 1am I reconnected with my friend. He told me that when he went into the next-door clothing store he was solicited to buy cocaine. I don't know if there's a connection between the four security guards outside of mothers who recommended my friend go into the store next door or not but it seems extremely fishy, and regardless my friend was turned away based on an inconsistently enforced dress code. I'd love to talk to management about this (as I'm also talking to police about the matter) and I have pictures, albeit blurry, of all 4 security guards who were outside of Mother's last night.
Ohh and I have one more thing to mention. On a previous visit during spring 2015 I was over charged here at Mother's. I was charged an extra $10 dollars on my bill. Luckily i had a copy of the receipt so fraud protection at my bank removed the charge. I posted a negative review on fb and the manager told me they would fix it but I had already had the charge reversed. If you look on Mother's Facebook page there are 64 reviews and around 10 reviewers all say they were overcharged. The majority of reviewers who claim they were overcharged all say they were overcharged the same $10. No, this is not a holding fee as multie people said after waiting a few days to see if the charge would disappear they were charged an additional time. I'm calling visa and Mastercard tommorow to discuss the consistent complaints about Mother's.

The phone number on this listing is incorrect. I have been getting calls but am not associated with 368 Ponce.
Great salon. Warm and inviting
Great place compared to most around Atlanta. Good job Ginya!
Fantastic psychic fair - all the readers are "the real thing". but they have moved to 6558 Vernon Woods Drive, about a mile north of their old location.
Very knowledgeable, friendly, and does high quality work!
Need help the evil is to strong
Delicious!!!! Must go if you haven't already!!
Monterrey Mexican Restaurant West Midtown out of business. Lost credit for Loaf coupon.
Voted best dive bar in ga two years in a row by Grease inc Magazine!! Cheap drinks and great bartenders!!
Not sure how they got 3.3 stars when there is only a single one star review up. KLR777 is right. Absolutley the rudest bartenders in ATL with no bartending skills whatsoever. Piano music was good. There was a live band that came up for 2 or 3 songs that was really good, but then they left. Word was the bar sent them packing in favor of awful house music. The only way this bar manages to drive in patrons is because it is in a bar district, otherwise it would fail miserably.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS! These guys sold me a lemon of a guitar and refused to refund my money. Absolutely appalling that they would treat a customer like this. It had much more damage than I was led to believe. Seriously, take your business elsewhere.
This restaurant is closed
Highly over rated. Waited a half hour to order (only one person taking orders, making drinks etc., another just milled around the counter aimlessly trying not to notice the line). Waited another 45 minutes for the food to come. Was informed by the manager (or whomever it was) that the person who took our order should have TOLD us it would take that long. Really?! You want your customers to stand in line a half hour only to find out it will be another 45 minutes? ......at least.... For a pizza? A soggy barely cooked pizza? (To be fair, one of the pizzas came out fully cooked. And the wine was good. But we won't be back)
The first thing we noticed is the place has been deep cleaned Top and bottom!! The new owners have made several changes for the better. New menu, but went back to the original award winning chili receipe. Food takes a few minutes but worth the wait. Everything taste fresh. I love the new sweet potato fries, thick and sweet. Salad with strawberries was a refreshing treat. Been there a few times now and service has been good everyone is friendly. Now that they are doing bands in the new room we will coming back to enjoy live music on weekends.
Although I have never tried this place I am so inspired by the wonderful reviews. Definitely on the top of my list!
2 words, Bad Experience. I booked vip for my birthday may 13, 2016. I was told by lida that I only have to pay 50 deposit and the 50 dollars will go towards my tab. No other fees included and she will throw in a bottle. I thought to myself that this was an unreal deal but I also knew that Cabana Lounge is a farely new club and I thought maybe their just trying to bring business in. I heard about Cabana Lounge on V103 radio station and I heard that Jerrod J will host it, so that by itself set the tone for me and led me to believe that the club would be nice. After arriving that night, security at the door looked very ratchet. I wasn't sure if they were just hanging out like bumbs or who they were. Not professional at all. After that, I had to make music suggestions to the dj because none of the music that he was playing was dance music. It was hood music. I like a little hood music but in a lounge they have a dance floor for a reason. There suppose to have been a dress code but there was a crew there with masks on and riding around on a hoover board. At the end of the night I received a bill for almost 300.00 with fees that I was never told about. Lida signed me up for a package that I didn't know about or concent to. I was furious. It was my words against hers. I do not recommend anyone to go to Cabana Lounge.
Come on, no more Warbyparker glasses. I’ve used GlassesShop.com before and have been very pleased with them. It is also one of the popular glasses stores for four-eyes that i strongly recommended.
This store is amazing for antiques, art and vintage furniture, must visit yourself.
