This used to be one of my favorite restaurants before they remodeled and lost the cozy atmosphere. The food is unique, I give them credit for that. I usually get the Boerewors on pap, which is a beef sausage that is mildly spicy. This time I got the Bobotie because I was in the mood for curry. The menu says that it is sweet and it is. It would have been better complimented with a salty side dish, but instead the side items were bland and rather boring. My wife had the Lamb chops, which were good but they did not stand out as different from any other restaurant. The restaurant is full of lots of young people who appear to be having a good time. The valet parking was a mess, even though we got our car back pretty fast there were some people who had to wait for awhile. If you like the food here you should check out the South African grocery store on Peachtree Industrial called "Cape Food and Beverage". The Boerewors they sell is good too.
10 Degrees South has the greatest ambiance and overall mood setting for a wonderful night out. From the Owners to the Bartenders to the food....everything is amazing. You'll definitely walk out of there with a little of South Africa instilled in you :) !!
