Re: “Pig N Chik

This place was ok. As much as i love bbq this place didnt stand out to me. The beans and collards tasted like they were straight out of the can. The ribs didnt come with sauce on them, which was a downside for me personally, it came in separate bottles which didn't taste to good. One sauce had a strong vinegar taste to it. But i did like how they separated the menu for the meat and sides. It made the choice a lot easier when i could basically pick what i wanted on my plate. The tea was alright. It wasnt sweet. All in all it was ok but its not a place i was recommend or visit again

Re: “Bullpen Rib House

We have to admit, we were a bit apprehensive in going here, as it was a weekday around dinner time, and there weren't a whole bunch of people there, but it was the only place around, and we heard good things about it. We were pleasantly suprised with our food and service. We ordered (at the large man working behind the bars recommendation) The ribs and beef brisket. Both were smoked perfectly, ribs were fall off the bone, but not overcooked, the brisket was unbelievably good, didn't realize anyone outside of Texas did Brisket this well. The sauce selection was limited, with a sweet, spicy and carolina mustard version, all of which were excellent. Price was also a great surprise, with a full rack of ribs (spare ribs) was only $18.50 and they were very large, enough to feed 2 people easily. We have been back a few times since the initial visit, and each time has been excellent. We made the mistake or trying to go not knowing it was a Braves home game, and they were packed, and we didn't feel like fighting the crowds, but we will be back again. Worth the trip, little hard to get to, located right next to Turner Field, with nothing else around them. Make plans to visit this hidden gem...

Re: “Rolling Bones Premium Pit BBQ

Um, this place has been closed for a while now. Last time I was in there I had to break up a fight between the cashier and the cook. Lol. Interesting space though. Decent patio for the area if you can keep the street action at bay.

Re: “Ms. Betty's House of Ribs

This was the most nastiest BBQ i have ever eaten. I brought a Groupon following the fact that it was selling over 100 certificates. The site said dine in or take out. my family and I, drove to this place expecting some good sit down BBQ dinner. HECK NO!!!! The place was a shack and their was dirty looking people just standing around where they were to be grilling the food. we went inside and their was only three chairs in the whole place. my bathroom is bigger then this shack. Still expecting good food, i presented my Groupon to the lady at the window. she asked did i want anything else i said no at the time. After waiting 20 mins for the food. A man yells out, who order the family feast. i come to the window and say," i would like to see the food". He gives the expression of "whatever, just go". i looked at the food and didnt like what i saw. When we got to eat the food it was HORRIBLE!!! the mac-n-cheese was soggy and wet. the Yams were way to sweet. The chicken and ribs didnt have any sauce on it and the seasoning that they used were gross. I would NEVER EVER EAT AT THIS AGAIN, NOT EVEN IF IT WAS FREE!

Re: “Heirloom Market BBQ

This place is really fantastic. I'm a self-proclaimed connoisseur of BBQ. I've eaten here six or seven times now and I've never left hungry or unhappy. Definitely worth the drive. BEWARE! Get there early for lunch and plan on the possibility of having to wait for a seat.

Re: “Fox Bros. Bar-B-Q

I believe BBQ is 2 of the 4 food groups, and that Fox Bros is the best in the city. Hands Down. Come for the classics like Ribs, Brunswick Stew, and pulled pork with some seriously decadent Mac n Cheese, but come back for the Fried Short Ribs, Brisket Taquitos, and the best chicken salad and chicken wings you have ever had. Thank you Justin and Jonathan.

Re: “Abdullah the Butcher House of Ribs & Chinese Food

There is no doubt that Abdullah is the true innovator of "hardcore wrestling". I grew up watching him destroy opponents and loved it! I am going to make a trip very soon to the rest and it would be awesome to meet him!

Re: “Abdullah the Butcher House of Ribs & Chinese Food

Abdullah's place is great. Me and my friends went their for my friends birthday party. When we opened the door I was amazed on how the walls are scattered with wrestling photos. Their are title belts, cool displays and everything. I ordered sesame seed chicken, it was great. The man who runs the place is very nice, and while we were eating he played a Abdullah DVD that had Abdullah talking and matches. The place is clean and the food was great. We even got photos of Abdullah which was cool. I love this place and want to come back!

Re: “D.B.A. Barbecue

Have been to DBA twice now and the place is a winner. I've tried a couple types of ribs, and the short ribs are particularly good. Smoky, fatty, and they fall off the bone.

The food here is great, I loved it. Thanks, Paul, you are a very nice man and made us feel very welcome. We enjoyed the conversation as well, thanks for a nice lunch.
