Smh. Rude. Unprofessional. They expect you to tip them for pool games, which is expensive. Pool is already $10/hour, I know I was laid off, recently. So my friend invited me there to get my mind off the lost of my job. So, I felt blind-sighted by an angry manager confronting us on the stairs, as we were exiting. He yells out in a demanding tone, "Hey, next time you come, YOU NEED TO TAKE CARE OF MY SERVERS." . We were shocked. I didn't drink or eat. Neither did my pool partner. But the manager ran up to us, confronted us about it in front of folks, and adamantly and rudely told us WE NEED TO TAKE CARE OF HIS SERVERS going forward. So, we tried to politely explain we hadn't use his servers to buy food or drinks. It was as if the $40 we had just spent there wasn't even appreciated. Just rude, unprofessional. But he went on a rant. And I just honestly felt like I was being extortioned and publicly embarrassed for not leaving what they perceived as a required tip. Please someone tell the manager that tips are voluntary! We bought no drinks or food. And, by the way, I have never tipped for pool. I tip for food, and IF I actually was a drinker,. I could see that. But tips are my choice, not theirs. MY GOD! RESPECT THE CUSTOMERS! Maybe, somebody can send a message to the CORNER TAVERN. See, you must lost a customer. And I know my friends has been going there every week, three times a week, and dropping $60 a week there. No more of that repeat customer stuff here. NOT UNTIL YAL LEARN some basic respect for your customers
Love hanging out with friends on the patio out back! Everyone is friendly and the food is amazing. Did I mention they serve food ALL night?!
They have a great comedy night on Tuesdays.
Had no complaints on a Friday evening with a couple friends... Good food and good drinks! Excellent service from our waitress, Karen!
This location is exactly what you make it! If you're boring then it will be boring. If you know how to have fun then rest assured, you will have a fabulous time! This is not the place to act bougie or be stuck up. This is hardcore partying and socializing!!!
this place was awesome and I will be back again soon!
Great venue for live music. Good crowd.
Would love to be in on this one. Talisker is my favorite tipple. However we will be passing by the distillery next week so I suppose that is one step better. :-)
Great food, great music, great service! The Thursday Blues Jam is the best I've ever seen!
This is an old listing for Darwin's. The new listing can be found here:
I dined here with my family last night and it was great. Neil, our sever was friendly and knowledgeable about both the beer and the menu. We felt like we made a friend. They are working at doing the farm to table thing which is very cool. We had a cheese plate to start. Some times the simplest things are the best. Short ribs, yum. Wrecking Bar...homemade Kit Kat...our son did not share. Can't wait till they have growlers. Crowd was 20's to 50's. Nice mix of folks that enjoy great beer.
Not your typical "pub" food. Dishes are high quality and the staff really cares. The feel of the place is laid back and fun. They also have an awesome patio.
I couldn't even make it out of the parking lot due to the wall of sound. Not crowd noise either.
And please ditch the valet parking. It's a bar, for Chrissakes.

There is always a new brew to be tasted. Ambiance is great. Perfect to go alone and pick up a chat with neighbors, or go with a group and have a good time friends. Appetizers are so good that I haven't made it to a main course yet after more than 20 visits.

about the place you need to be.
Great fresh ales (Real Ale) and an excellent menu. I prefer the West Coast style IPAs paired with mussels and flat bread.
Chaplins has Karaoke every Wednesday, Friday and Saturday nights. Wednesday night they have many specials and Karaoke contest leading up to finals. Great little place that has been doing Karaoke for over 20 years.
Food is great, fast and features a wide variety.
Great beer, great food, and gaming to your heart's content; how could it get any better than this? This is an awesome place to geek out, or just chill and have a bite and a pint and talk to some cool people.
This is a great place to chill and relax. Great for gamer nerds, but the welcoming and friendly environment is awesome for non-gamers, too! I love their Ladies' Night (free gameplay for ladies) every Friday :D
