The Brickstore is a beer lover's paradise. These guys know their beers. In fact, they are almost pretentious about it and won't carry anything they consider "too mainstream." But expect a good variety of craft beers and hard to find favorites on tap and an extensive list of bottled beers. The upstairs bar is dedicated to Belgium beers...sweet. Food is better than average pub food -- fish and chips is a favorite. The wait staff and bartenders all know their beers. It does get crowded on the weekend.
The beer menu is amazing. Look for any Belgian beer you can think of in the bottle. I always stick to the tap, though, as they generally put their favorites on there. Watch out though, if you get 2 of the high% beers, you might be a little looser than you expected.
I on a saturday night so it was very crowded. But a very good selection of belgium type beers and single malt scotches.Food is a lot better than your average bar food at very inexpensive prices.Well worth the visit and I will definately go back but not on a weekend night.
The Brick Store Pub has one of the best beer selections in the city! My husband and I love to hang at the bar on a Sunday afternoon drinking big Belgian beers.
