The first thing we noticed is the place has been deep cleaned Top and bottom!! The new owners have made several changes for the better. New menu, but went back to the original award winning chili receipe. Food takes a few minutes but worth the wait. Everything taste fresh. I love the new sweet potato fries, thick and sweet. Salad with strawberries was a refreshing treat. Been there a few times now and service has been good everyone is friendly. Now that they are doing bands in the new room we will coming back to enjoy live music on weekends.
Family friendly sports bar atmosphere. Super friendly staff and good selection of rotating drafts.
I always have a great time when I go walk through this freshly rearranged spot. The people who have worked to build it up have been great at making progress to the right place. I also admire their original diverse range of events yet keeping the same crowd. That's a hard task for Atlanta but a much needed one.thanksllet you!
One of my absolute favorite places to relax. The bar staff are fantastic. They know their wine and drinks as well if not better than anyone in the city (can't speak to the servers, but the bar itself...forgettaboudit!). In my opinion they serve the city's best special Gin and Tonic called the "Chuck's G&T". Get it and thank me later.
The food is really wonderful. Most often we will order a few snacks and appetizers instead of entrees since they nailed these items. Try the trout spread (they'll bring extra toast if you don't want to spread it inch thick), the fried pickled vegetables, or the wings for sure. They had a fantastic pork belly item on the menu last time that I sat for dinner.
The restaurant itself is beautifully decorated on the inside. The old train stop is a wonderful space as a rastaurant/bar. In fact the foot rail at the bar is made of the old train track.
H.Harper does several special events throughout the year including a pig roast, whisky tasting sessions and special menu on Mardi Gras etc. I don't work there I only eat and drink there, but as you can probably tell. I'm a big fan.
I love Wild Bills. I go there to line dance on Wednesday nights. 5 bucks to get in and you get a lesson for an hour, and can dance from 7-11! Nice group of people. Most of the staff is great, but the bartender on Wednesdays is not too friendly and they don't always have what I want to drink, but I'm there for the dancing anyway. Don the DJ is awesome, and Rose who teaches, and John at the door. Weekend bands have been good, but loud, but I can go in the back and dance and get a bite to eat.
Best staff ever. Great drinks. Good food. Nice view of downtown from the upstairs bar.
I digs it. Cute girls and guys of all types, friendly staff, good music, karaoke night, smoke-free.
Only cons, expensive drinks and limited parking on weekends.
Java Lords is about as local as it gets and they have awesome coffee - they roast their own beans and have a good selection of single-origin organics.
Eclectic crowd with a significant lean toward theater, music and arts folk - very open and inviting unless you try to pick a fight or are bothering other customers.
The actual space could probably use a little bit of a facelift but it is comfortable and quiet during the day to do work. The vibe really depends on the bartender because whomever is on duty is in charge of the music but they're typically accommodating too.
We love going here on Wednesday night.
I was here last weekend, It is a small place very small. But, it is a fun place. Dj Qstorm was spinning and the music was on point. I would say try it out. Its a nice spot to begin your night of partying.
I'm surprised to see poor reviews for Top Flr. We've eaten there several times a year since they opened and never had anything other than quality service and amazing food. The prices aren't as ridiculously low as they were the first year (and the service and decor swanker), but you're still eating food as good and creative as the stuff at 4th and Swift or Empire State for a much lower price.
Wow, what a difference a few weeks make. Bravo to the Team at Olde Towne Tavern in Buckhead for turning around some serious issues and making my experience as different as Night & Day. I went back today around same time as last and had a whole new experience. The Team was really in Top form and Danielle-MOD & Sarah-Bartender really listened to concerns and feedback and addressed and corrected them head-on. I ordered the same items STEAKHOUSE salad and Chili and everything was really good. The Owner Bob and his son were all hands on deck and attentive to the Restaurant. The place really felt warm, inviting and you could tell the Team really cared about making Olde Towne Tavern a Buckhead neighborhood gem. Danielle was proud of the 98A inspection report (I always check…LOL). I will definitely return and support them and I’m looking forward to all the cool nightly specials and events they have planned for Buckhead.
Thank you for making a believer out of me…very impressed!
New owners did a complete 180 renovation of the Old "Sidelines Bar and Grill" in Marietta. They turned the old musty/ ratty hang out into a comfortable, inviting sports and multi- music venue! Main attractions include a wavey- gravey SweetWater Beer truck, Tattoo Skateboard & toilet seat covers art, a state- of -the- art Music Hall with garage door entrance and a sand Volleyball court next to the Tiki Bar. The restaurant cranks out really great food at affordable prices-The Western Cheddar Burger, the Chimichanga and the Loaded Tots are consistent winners!
Would love to be in on this one. Talisker is my favorite tipple. However we will be passing by the distillery next week so I suppose that is one step better. :-)
For the price, the place is incredible. Great date spot, guys.
Fresh, creative food in a cute hip space. Love the appetizers and the burger is delicious.
Wonderful small plates, specializing in Spanish tapas. Great wine list , well presented and you must try their Bacon infused Old Fashion.
This is a cozy bar steeped in history. It has great pub food and deli. Free peanuts a good band on the weekends and a great beer garden out back with a fire pit that is great for conversations with old friends and new.The back bar has some eclectic people and good bartenders.Ask for Laura.
I've been there 3 Fridays in a row and plan on continuing that tradition. Can't speak to the servers' cocktail knowledge since I post up at the bar... where everyone on the other side of the bar knows A LOT about every single drink on the menu. Great spot to unwind on a Friday night, early or late.
Great party!!! Had a ball!!
