I had waited forever to go to del Sol, and when I finally ordered my food, brought it home, and got a chance to taste their food, I was a bit disappointed. Every time I pass by del Sol during lunch hours they are completely pack, so I'm thinking they must be good right? The salsa trio I ordered was the best part of my meal. I ordered the carintas and memphis tacos, and the shrimp and corn chowder. All of which was just not very flavorful at all. The meat was not seasoned at all to me, and to me that could have made all the difference. In my opinion the food was just too bland, no flavor, and that's bad for a mexican style of restaurant. But hey people still folk there, so something there must be good.
This place was ok. As much as i love bbq this place didnt stand out to me. The beans and collards tasted like they were straight out of the can. The ribs didnt come with sauce on them, which was a downside for me personally, it came in separate bottles which didn't taste to good. One sauce had a strong vinegar taste to it. But i did like how they separated the menu for the meat and sides. It made the choice a lot easier when i could basically pick what i wanted on my plate. The tea was alright. It wasnt sweet. All in all it was ok but its not a place i was recommend or visit again
The mystery show was not very good; the first reviewer described it best - "amateurish". The main issue with the show was that there were too many characters. Their stories weren't flushed out well. Characters were being killed off willy nilly without rhyme or reason. You had to read through a long 2-sided pamphlet to figure out each characters history. Add to that, that the characters don't make their way around the restaurant. Instead each set of characters concentrates their actions to a certain area of the restaurant. Zero stars for the show.
I rated the experience 2 stars for the food alone. Sugo's serves excellent food. I've been there on non-performance nights and the food is always very tasty. However, for this event, the portions of the appetizer (spinach quiche), salad, and dessert (2 tiny canollis) are very small. The main course (chicken or pork) is large.
Finally, the service was horrid. What angered me the most was that an 18% tip was automatically added to our bill. I purchased this event as a groupon for $99. The restaurant also tacked on 7% sales tax on the $99 (What???). Not happy at all.
Service sucks ! i used to be regular only because of the location but last straw was when they gave me the wrong change and refused to correct it even though it was a small amount it is the principal of the matter. This inline with the poor service much better places in the same area. Try those instead.
I really wanted to like this place since it's just around the corner from my house and I love pretty much anything that comes off the smoker and they did a great job fixing up the building. However, bit times I've been there at lunch time they have been out of somethings, others were not ready and what they did have looked like it had been sitting to long, despite the fact that they had only been open for an hour?
I ended up with the smoked chicken and mac & cheese. The chicken was so dry that I couldn't finish it while the mac & cheese was great.. but not enough to make me go back a 3rd time.
The beef is good, the rest is way over priced.
By the time you add bacon, cheese, and a side, this fast food style burger is more expensive than a real burger at many good restaurants.
On top of that, they can't even cook it right. Both times I've been, I've asked for medium. Each time, the burger came out medium well to well done. The fries are decent. The onion rings are pathetic. I only got 5 rings in an order, and they were covered in a thick, soggy batter that overwhelmed the onion. They have a wide variety of toppings, but they are hit or miss. The bacon, for instance, is excellent, thick and crisp. The pork belly, on the other hand, is dry and remarkably unflavorful. And the burger comes on generic store bought buns! Any burger that costs 10 bucks should come on a decent fresh bun.
Bottom line, the burgers are fine, but way overpriced for what they are.
If I want this style of burger, I'll go to Grind House, save a few bucks, and get far superior onion rings.
If I want a real burger, I'll go to a restaurant like Abatoir, where for the same price I can get a perfect medium rare burger from fresh local beef, thick cut bacon, fresh cut fries, big enough to feed two, and wash it down with a selection of quality draft beer.

I would not recommend this restaurant. I found the food to be unremarkable and the management to be both rude and dishonest.
I had a Cuban Sandwich with rice and beans and a side of tostones. The food was fine, but not spectacular. The Sandwich was dry and flavorless. The pork seemed more like turkey than I am used to. I was not excited by the sauce that accompanied the tostones like I have been at other places.
The food, however, couldn't make up for the service and management. The woman behind the counter was brusque and rude. I brought a coupon I had printed out online. I was told without explanation or apology that they were no longer accepting the coupon. There is no excuse for this. They could have easily contacted the site and had the coupon removed.
I do not plan on ever returning. There are better Cuban restaurants in Atlanta and far better restaurant options along the Buford Hwy.
I can only say two good things about this bar. First, the decor is nice for an Irish pub and second, they validate for 2 hours at the adjacent parking garage. But I've been twice and won't go back. Here is why.
Food: They were out of literally half of the items on the menu, including such standards as burgers and shepherd's pie. What Irish pub runs out of shepherd's pie, on a Tuesday? The only food they did seem to have was fried. The chicken fingers were salty, dried out and obviously frozen and while the fish was fresh they only gave one filet. I opted for a salad which turned out to be a pile of greens soaked in heavy dressing and a few grapes and pieces of overly ripe apple. Either the kitchen manager is inept or Ri Ra is hurting for cash and skimping on fresh ingredients.
Drinks: They have a big drink menu which promoted their seasonal beers. But it turns out that they don't actually have any of those seasonal beers in stock. (Hmm - seeing a trend here.) But they did have a $3 special on an Irish beer that was OK. So at least they don't overcharge for watered down drinks.
Service: The service was OK. Our waitress was attentive to our group. And she apologized for not having much food. So she earns them an extra star. Otherwise I'd give them only 1 star.
its an ok indian buffet for lunch but i would never go back
Had lunch there recently, only one other table was seated when I got there. Took a shot at the short ribs, They tasted like they were soaked in cornstarch and had been sitting around for a while. The potato starch pancakes had a nice flavor, but had the consistency of the short ribs. The side dishes, turnips, bean sprouts, and asparagus were ok. The black beans had a sweet flavor and were above par. Not a stand out offering, nothing to really want me to return any time soon.
One thing you can say about Apres Diem is they are consistent. The wait staff is awful. The food is mediocre and the parking is a test of skill and temper. But the outdoor seating keeps people coming back over and over.
I have to agree with Besha. Some dishes are spot on (the meatloaf, another risotto which is no longer on the menu) while a lot of others just need something to pull them into a cohesive dish. The price point is spot on for the neighborhood, and it is a great addition to the neighborhood. I hope they can fix some things so this can be a really good restaurant, not just something that rumbles along because it's the best thing in the neighborhood.
I ate at Sun in My Belly a few times within the first month or two after discovering it. I loved it until my girlfriend was served what appeared to be hair in her salad. When I very delicately and forgivingly pointed it out to our server, she defensively replied "oh that's not hair - those are slivers of plastic. I keep asking them about how that gets into our salads." No apology (or even feigned concern) was offered, and I suppose my girlfriend was expected to disregard the shreds of plastic in her salad and continue eating. I have yet to conclude whether plastic in one's salad is better or worse than hair, but in the meantime I have not been back.

I'm an American who has traveled to South Korea with my Korean speaking girlfirend. Hae woon dae used to be a reasonably priced late night grub and soju spot with delicious staples like Bulgogi, Dak Galbi, and Sam Geup Sal (and my personal favorite - beef tongue mmmm) served with endless quantities and varieties of panchan.
No more - prices have gone up and portions have gone down. With one pot of soju and tip it is hard, if not impossible, for 2 to eat there for less than $50. For Korean on Buford highway I'd steer you towards the lucious soups at Tofu House. If BBQ is what you're after then it's gotta be either Honey Pig or Iron age - Both in Gwinnett.
Incredibly noisy at Friday lunch. Food good, but a long wait for it. Service was only OK. Probably will not return with all of the other neighborhood choices. BC
