I saw this family on some documentary years ago. His house was all Elvis ~ he'd get rid of furniture to fit more Elvis memorabilia in. His wife left him because of the Elvis obsession. He said he'd gone through several VHS recorders trying to catch any shows that mentioned Elvis. I love Elvis, he is the King, but I'd hate to loose me family over him.
One of most memorable days ever was the day I got to spend on Sapelo Island and meet Mrs. Bailey........both are truly gifts from God...
Actually, you can't shop online. But, making the trip to Scottsboro is lots of fun! You never know what you will find!
Whatever you have sowed you will definitely reap. I Love you
I was wisely advised to avoid this long before your ringing endorsement. Out of curiosity, I looked it up on the Flamingo's website, and it's either closed, or they are too embarrassed to list it.
it is a wonderfull place i luv it
You couldn't have said it much better. HOWEVER, the Main site to the Fort/via Yankee Freedom DOES say there is Fishing from the Shores. Which to me is sad, cause now I have to wear shoes and worry about strings and hooks. LET me know if you know or hear different. Headed out there soon for a three day tour.
where is his friggin house
Fun to read. I like it when you laugh on paper- like the 'heh heh.'
Isn't Miami all that? I remember sitting there with my brother on S. Beach sipping 8$ glasses of champagne, which doesn't sound that bad NOW, but everything was so expensive. And by the time I left, I was starting to dress like a Versache slut. No, but really, buying more glam and glitter than I ever have. But, as soon as I got my feet down on Atlanta ground again, my new bling appetite faded.
I had trouble putting into words just what made this show so offensive and horrible. You've nailed it.
If there's ketchup on it, it's not a Chicago hot dog. No true Chicagoan above the age of three would ever put ketchup on a hot dog. Also there has to be two sport peppers on it.

As an african, to read this touching story, refershes the agony of are forefathers.
The story is absolutely terrific. Charlie Haffner is finest artist of his generation, and a leaving legend.
I grew up in Atlanta and now live on the beautiful coast of Maine. I married an Ohioan and have often told him stories of the Old Hickory House and their thick, yummy BBQ sandwiches I have also tried to explain "Brunswick Stew" to him but can never seem to put it into words.
I would love any of these recipes. It makes me homesick for BBQ and childhood to think of The Old Hickory House.
It is very sad to think of all the wealth of information that could be salvaged and perhaps a small circular building built to house some of the history that should be recognized as a very important bit of history ,of not only a way of life , but a people who we should be proud of,of all the ancient ways of religion, and agriculture and the many kinds of crafts that made their everyday life livable.so much of their heritage we use today without any thopught to give thanks to them.. A building with the monument should be built..
You think it is "rape" to "defile" a watermelon with vodka or rum, but praise-worthy to splash lime juice and ginger all over it? You need to work on your priorities.
