My name is Alex, I am from Ukraine, I am 33 years old man. I don't smoke cigarettes and don't drink alcohol. My blood is O+ and I have a good health. If you need kidney or liver transplant, I am ready to give one of my kidneys or part of my liver, but I want to receive a big compensation for that.
Foot is very important for our body.Always wearing high heels is harm for our health.Nike produce high heels so comfortable protect your feet.
Hey I SAW boy hits car at the Masquerade. Loved those guys are crazy. Looks way better that sammy hagar. sammy hagar really? The other bands that night were good too saw Deer Enemy and gravity burn and No Longer Mica..And a few others...Overall a great new years night, although i don't remember past about 2. Oh if you get a chance go check out boy hits car on myspace, omg they have a pic of him jumping from like 80 feet stage diving into the crowd..too bad the heavens ceiling was not that high.. would have like to see him do his thing...Oh yeah I spent my new year in heaven and hell...that's a first.HA HA!!!
Let me tell ya about Donnie. I had the pleasure of meeting those guys(EQT) years ago at a place in Pascagoula,Ms. called Johnny's Smokehouse. Not only did this guys perform and kick ass...they were down to earth and made the crowd seem like their best friends. Ended up inviting them to my house and we partied til the cows came home. So Donnie looks a little tired but I tell you something...that man is a kick ass musician and I bet there ain't nobody that could stand up to him on the aspects of giving it all. The Smokehouse was packed the whole time they were there and people came from all around to hear this band. They are today just as kick ass as they were in 1972. Long may they wave!!!!!
Foot solutions have done a great job of promoting chung shi's in the US. I hear that Fashion Shop are getting them in soon http://www.fashionshop.co.uk/chung-shi.aspx so hopefully we will be able to get them more readily in the uk. Jane
I used to come to Folk Fest and see some good folk art. This year, there was hardly any real folk art there. I felt like I was at some chintzy novely shop at the mall. And why was the place hot as hell? Can't they at least turn on the air conditioning? It was cooler outside, and it was 100 degrees outside! This apparently led to bad turnout, as most of the artists / galleries I spoke with on Sunday had lost money. Hard to sympathize with some of them when you look at their work. If one wants to see true American folk art, one need not waste one's time at this "fest."
Mr. Noble, you write as if you can drink alot of alchomohol. Let me assure you sir, if I ever see you out on the town (probably at the New Lenny's), I will challenge you to a duel, a drinking duel. You believe that you can swill bourbon? Amateur, you are green. Green from being sick from 3 ounces of Kentucky's finest. That is all you can handle.
Don't come around here writing that you drank soooooo much unless you can put your tolerance where your pen is - I won't say where either of those things might happen to be. SIR!
Shut up Anita. No one cares. You know you would have had a bad if you went anyway. You always have a bad time. That's why you no longer see the point in extreme imbibing...as if there is a point. Hangovers are trophies for some people. Like dad, he always loved a good hangover.
I suppose if you don't like classic cars OR live music of a few different varieties OR hilarious movies OR hanging out with friends OR good food, you're right, this event has little to offer...
...a drunkards dream, if I ever did see one. Drunks are only cool if you are drunk, too. Since I do not see the point of extreme imbibing any longer, I passed on this event, and it seems I didn't miss much.
While Tabernacle shows are normally over before midnight so many clubs don't see a headliner start before 12:30am or later. If you have a day job this is almost an impossible situation except on the weekends. Fortunately there are venues like the Variety Playhouse and the Tabernacle that make it possible to see some good shows without staying out til 2am.
Your observations are pretty much on the money about "folk" Fest. This year was a bust. Why? Maybe because there is actually very little folk art at folk fest! The vast majority of art works there are created by failed "insider" artists who have designed clever false personas and personal histories for themselves as well as redundant "theme" and palette for their work. And serious collectors and patrons have caught on to this scheme, leaving "folk" fest, Steve Slotin, and most of the galleries to compete for the entertainment dollars of suburbanites like sideshow carnies. Folk Fest? More like Fake Fest.
No Offense Mr. Noble, but please bring back Andisheh.
It's been months. I still can't get used to this. Scene & Heard is just not the same.
Someone should have asked about the baby she had with El Debarge all those years ago and gave to her sister, Rebie to raise.
Man on man, I am reading your article and eating cheese eggs & raisin toast and nearly choked to death. Hilarious! Too Funny!
Then you wont have to keep usint f....k and shit so many times..
I am so jealous! Good question! Next time ask her if is true she had a rib removed so she could build a six pack? That has always plagued me and I bet if you followed suit you would lose the 10lbs. A rib has to weigh close to... ;)
i read your article and to me it seemed like you didnt give the conference a chance. the night before you were in the bar drinking so you didnt even give it a fair chance. take time in your research. what you put in thats what you will get out. the conference didnt have anything to do with gay and lesbian's. it had to do with people's life and were they will spend eternity.
i will keep you in my prayers.
