Re: “Hollywood Product: Zombieland

My mother owned Three Sisters. I am the youngest of the Three Sisters it was named for. We closed it around just after Zombieland was realeased. After my granny, the manager, passed away from lung cancer that had spread; it didn't feel right without her, so we sold it. I miss that place so much...

Re: “Police drama Pride and Glory shoots but doesn't score

This movie is not the best writing in Hollywood, but for someone who comes from the streets of the same place where its shot, I think it did ok..3 stars out of 5 from me..jose Cardenas...tutiebx

Re: “Hollywood Product: 'Fifty Shades of Grey'

It's my understanding that the book doesn't provide any romance that the film lacks. In fact, it's a textbook abusive relationship.

Re: “Hollywood Product: Red Dawn

So it's like a WB produced feature?

Re: “Hollywood Product: The Avengers

Not just a great comic book film, or a great superhero film but a great film period. "The Avengers" was simply fantastic, excellent review Curt.

Re: “Hollywood Product: Alex Cross

The description in the review seems like at least a 3 rating.

Re: “Hollywood Product: Magic Mike

@bloodgimp - yeah that's Kevin Nash. Threw me for a minute when I saw him there. He doesn't talk much - makes a lot of grunting noises.

Re: “Magic Mike

It was silly. The movie was trite with expected conventions. Those expecting actual nudity will be disappointed but a lot of very old large ladies in the the theater audience (who'd probably never been to a strip show) found it titillating. It's the story of a man coming to grips with both his life choices and aging, and a very young man being overwhelmed by too much money, too many women, and easy access to drugs and booze. Since Channing Tatum produced and starred in it, it's obviously a vehicle for him, and he had a lot of comedic facial expressions reminiscent of a young Tom Selleck mixed with a young Brendan Fraser. It's not an awful movie, just not a good one. Wait for cable.

Re: “Hollywood Product: The Avengers

Not typically a big fan of this type of movie. Loved it.

Re: “Hollywood Product: The Avengers

Bruce Banners "Then what if the other guy says no?" Was pretty bad ass, but I think Ironman was more intellectually intimidating. Tho I am a little bias as I just found out I am most like Ironman on I think that is a compliment??!!

Re: “Hollywood Product: The Avengers

Great review, but I gotta dis-agree with you on the best line. The best line is when Captain America is giving out intricate detailed assignments to all the hero's then gets to Hulk and simply stats "Hulk Smash"
