I have yet to find a trivia competition anywhere in Metro Atlanta as fierce as the nights we had at Rocky Mountain Pizza Kitchen north of Georgia Tech in the late 90's/early 00's.

Miss one question and you were done at that spot.

Re: “Neighborhood cheat sheet for newbie college students

Thanks for the response Debbie. What I meant was, you went way outside the perimeter on the North side, while only mentioning 2 in-own schools that are barely south of I-20. It's not so much a complaint as a lament for a very common occurrence.

Re: “Neighborhood cheat sheet for newbie college students

Debbie, are you a saint or a masochist for going out of your way to help enlighten people who clearly didn't read your article, but yet found it necessary to attempt to complain about it?

Re: “Neighborhood cheat sheet for newbie college students

@Henry M Carter Mba: Not at all. I'm saying the opposite. If you read the story, you'll see that we included capitol view in the list because there are two colleges located in that neighborhood. It is the fourth blurb in the list.

@doublephantom: you're absolutely right, which is why the blurb on Tucker says the following: "Tucker's a relatively short drive from Decatur, a neighborhood known for its dining options, including special-occasion treats like Cakes & Ale and No. 246," - The idea was to point out nearby destinations in addition to neighborhood highlights.

Re: “Neighborhood cheat sheet for newbie college students

Greetings Debbie. To get clarity are you saying that Atlanta Technical College and Atlanta Metropolitan College are not relevant enough to be of interest to new students in the area?

Re: “Neighborhood cheat sheet for newbie college students

No. 246 and Cakes and Ale couldn't be more in Decatur, not in Tucker.

Re: “7 late-night food spots

Delia's is so much more than hot dogs! Obviously I love the place.

They have chicken sausage slingers with hot dog fixin's that are very good.

The chicken sliders are so good you might get hooked. I did until I tried other things on the menu.

I am a HUGE fan of the chicken meatball grinder. It's the best Italian meatball ever and it's completely made of chicken! It comes on a big soft Italian bun with mozzarella and fresh basil. But since everything is made to order, you can have it the way you want it.

They even have gluten free chorizo tacos and gluten free specials.

The potato wedges are slop yo mama good!

Every person that I have taken to Delia's has loved it!

Re: “4 things to do without a car

^ I agree.

But I am glad to see downtown Decatur and Sunday night poetry at Java Monkey made the list!

Re: “2013 College Guide

For the dislikes, sorry I forgot I wasn't in the Freshloaf side, I was being sarcastic. Since many of the naysayers about MARTA seem to subscribe to that belief.

Re: “Neighborhood cheat sheet for newbie college students

@PTC Newnan: Incorrect! Please see Capitol View w/ mentions of Atlanta Technical College and Atlanta Metropolitan State College. Rather than being an overview of every neighborhood in Atlanta, the purpose of this feature was to highlight the metro area's "core neighborhood groups where Atlanta's main college and university campuses are located, as well as those of some of its more well-attended technical and professional colleges" to helps students, particularly ones new to the area, get their bearings. Thanks! Debbie Michaud, editor

Re: “Neighborhood cheat sheet for newbie college students

I noticed that everything south of I-20 was accidentally left out of the "Know your neighborhood" section. Could you please send another shipment of CL's with the complete list?

thanks
