The Bad Girls Club in Atlanta, APD will have it's work cut out.
Oh no. I'm very concerned about this. I mean, 4.4 million people watch the show, it's the highest-rated show in Bravo history, but, holy hell -- @InAtl has never seen it! Totally rethinking decision to run this story. Wonder if we can pull the issue off the stands. Why am I typing this? I've got calls to make.
Why was this on the cover of my Creative Loafing this week? I have never seen the show. Its a plot by the 1% to further turn the minds of the masses into mush and distract them from the greatest heist in this country's history. I'm actually kind of serious!
Cum gutters...! Ha, love it.
Why else would you click...other than to see more of that speci-man?
Screw the housewives, I'll take a reality show about that hunk of yummy with the tatted up cum gutters behind Kandi!
the hoes of ga ga ga ga
I'm curious. How many people in the comment section saw The Family That Preys in its entirety. You don't HAVE to like his work but you should respect the work ethic. Third behind Oprah and James Cameron? Employing 400 people? That's huge. Homosexuality has nothing to do with the success. I do believe that the critics AND the writers circle that turned him into the guild a coupld of years ago have something to do with him being shut in though. Yeah, he could open up his spectrum to more filmmakers but even if he doesn't he's helped that ATL economy. Tieuel Legacy! Motion
whats the difference between a Black-man and a Canoe........A Canoe TIPS..LOL.I am in Screen Actors Guild and Have worked with many a star///most are cheeeeeeep!
for all those GAY rumor advocates, here is him with his girlfriend, Gelila Bekele. She is a model. The pic is from an event they went to within the past 2 months. They've been together since about 2007 i believe. http://mediaoutrage.com/2011/04/05/tyler-p…
I tend to agree with bloodgimp...not a fan of his work..overly simplistic cliches of black people, horrible writing and character development. I did, however, like this article. In Atlanta it does seem to be common knowledge that he is a gay man, but his target audience (church going black women)would not support his movies if he came out
First of all, he has no business engaging in premarital sex. How the heck can he be a Christian? On top of that if there really was a pregnant girlfriend, what kind of example is he setting by saying he wouldn't marry her because she's pregnant. If she's good enough to screw, then she's good enough to marry if she's carrying his child; which brings me to point number three. He threw all this "pregnant girlfriend" crap out there for safe measure...he's GAY! His cousin wrote a tell-all book about Tyler; "What TMZ Didn't Tell You". Pick up a copy. It exposes the TRUE Tyler Perry!
Actually, his "Island" is really just an offshore landfill of used fat suits.
Isn't he supposed to be a super christian with the s on his chest? I feel bad for the female who is only good enough to have a baby by him but not good enough for him to marry. He lost my respect for that.
He just spoke about having thought he got someone pregnant. why would you guys assume that he is gay? Just because of the Medea costume? I don't think you should project your assumptions on him just because it is convenient for your agenda. That is not fair.
I think his work is total crap but I don't begrudge him his success, his islands or his tacky "chateaus." But as another poster noted, it is fairly clear to many that he is a gay man. If this is so, his quote "When you're a public person you have a responsibility...If you have information that may help others, you have a responsibility to do that" doesn't ring true.
And yes he done need people because he got the man who made the people that is Jesus Christ. I love him and really value his skills. All the haters need to get a life and live your own dream because Tyler will not let negative talking stop him. He is just so awesome...
I love you Tyler! You are awesome..
Tyler you are just awesome!!
The cover should have read, "Tyler Perry doesn't tip". Seeing as I used to wait on him and his film crew frequently, I felt as if the cover story was titled incorrectly.
Seriously, are there not any other Atlanta artists to give this amount of attention to other than Tyler fcking Perry? Apparently he doesn't need ME, but he does need an image-improvement blitz (I've seen more stories about him over the last week than I have over the last couple of years). While he may (or may not) be an interesting person, his movie characters are embarrassingly simple cliches with his writing about as lame and hacky as it can get. There's a reason why he can crank out 2 or 3 scripts at a time: because there's little thought or effort going into them.
