Hope everyone had a great weekend and has a even greater week.
PS this is in Candler Park, not Inman Park. The menu is not always Japanese. They feature different cuisines each week.
Thank goodness for the new hours at Spice to Table! I've never understood why so many restaurants in this neighborhood stay open until 5:00, and then shut their doors just as so many of us are getting home and deciding what to do for dinner.
Can anyone explain why restaurateurs think it makes sense to be open from 2:00 to 5:00 PM, but closed for the dinner hours? Is there really any traffic (or, at least, enough to be profitable) after 2:00, but before dinner?
The weekend events wouldnt be complete without a dumb comment from jane who doesent even live in atlanta! Thanks for your input Jane!
Fun in Atlanta.
I am so sad!!! I just found out today when a friend called to ask me if I knew. There are so few places for vegans and vegetarians to eat heartily…my heart is broken!!! Let's keep supporting Dulce Vegan Cafe on Hosea Williams Dr. in Kirkwood so they can keep their doors open.
Thank you for the article. My wife was diagnosed with MS a few years back and since then she was getting a injection once a month at the MS center in Atlanta which I might add cost $7,000 (insurance billing total) per month. After a cross panel test and some other test by Axis Health in Sandy Springs off of Hammond Drive we found that she has a gluten intolerance. The symptoms of MS are the exact thing to people who are allergic to Gluten. Since the test results came back she has been gluten free for 11 months and she hasn't had any symptoms nor has she had to do the monthly injections. So people who say this is just a fad should just shut up because they have no idea what they are talking about. I highly recommend if anybody thinks they have an intolerance to go get tested by Dr. Garcia @ Axis Health. It literally saved my wife's life.
Dough will be sorely missed.
It breaks my heart when a small business closes. Someone's dreams, aspirations and sweat equity are gone. Remember to support the independent "Mom and Pop" stores and forget the chains. Hopefully, the staff will find other employment soon.
Thank you for sharing all the great events, hope many folks get to attend them.
Probably for the best. You could tell there was no love from the kitchen. We wasted our time and money @K&D a couple of weeks ago. Food was really uninspired. Left feeling we would not go back. That and the "valet" parking you are charged for really made it a meh evening.
Looks like a lot of great events posted here, enjoy everyone.
Looks like there were a lot of great events over the weekend, hope a lot of folks got the chance to enjoy some of them.
tofu in marietta??? details PLEASE!
Ms. Anne's Snack Bar in Kirkwood, oldie but a goodie!
Not sure why nobody comments on Ted's Montana Grill but there burgers either Bison or Beef with tons of combinations of toppings are excellent. I know its a chain but they are really great. And KUDO's to all the other joints mentioned especially Vortex, Kevin Rathbun and Chef Joey Riley at Kaleidoscope. Also surprised that nobody mentions Yeah Burger. They are small burgers but they use White Oak Provisions products, all produce is organic and you custom make what you want on top.... Just my one opinion everyone..
Can't wait for Anything Grows. looks great!
Diner Burger at The Albert
The Heritage Sandy Springs Concert was last night. The date is incorrect on the CL calendar. http://www.heritagesandysprings.org/Calend…
Wow, this is much better than all the other weekend food event posts. What changed?
