Where's the chicken?
Great story. And he moved back for his wife. Now he works in the beer world for a living. And it's OTP - in a wealthy area. The JR is slightly jealous.
HOToberfest in HOTlanta...HAWT!
Paulisdamuthaf'nmayhn! Way to crush the pairing question. I've seen Navarro drink an Imperial Stout and agree he's a thing of beauty. Also, I agree on the poorly designed labels sentiment. ps I love you.
- I don't think it's Navarro Carr but maybe I'm mixing things up. No pun intended
I like the bartender that was at Sound Table a year and a half ago then left, he had suspenders so maybe he's a mixer. Whatever the hell, he could recommend a tire iron to me and I'd try to drink it. Wish he was still there, anyone know who I'm talking about and where he's at?
I'm a bon snob. It's a palindrome.
my buddy "asshole snob" doesn't see what the problem is.
No self-respecting human would refer to himself as a "beer snob" or a "music snob" anyway. That's a term for kids and assholes, in my experience.
Paul knows what he's talking about, Chad. He's a genius about all things alcoholic including beer. Visit Paper Plane & learn. "Interview somebody worth a damn like Freddy from Sweetwater." ?? If you think Sweetwater is a model of excellence in brewing, you don't qualify as a beer snob. I'm sure they're nice people & they don't make bad beer, but they certainly don't make great beer. Wild Heaven, Monday Night & Jailhouse are much better local breweries.
As a beer snob this article made me cringe so hard. The guy has no idea what he's talking about as concerned with beer so how the hell it made it into the paper blows my mind. Interview somebody worth a damn like Freddy from Sweetwater.
"A bartender serves you a drink.
A mixologist serves you a drink with attitude (and suspenders)."
mixologist - still not a real thing.
see "bartender" in the dictionary for the word you're looking for.
paul calvert is a boss.
I don't always pour beer. But when I do, I prefer a less-chubby, weed-smoking, Frisbee-golf-playing craft. Stay drunk, my ATL
Wait, why are we asking the leading mixologist in Atlanta about beer? Give me some recipes or something.
The LA IPA is killer!
I was wondering that, too...I swear Nick speaks perfectly clear English! Can't wait to try some of Cherry Street's brews!
Great write-up; I love their beer.
But seriously, [what's] going on [with] the [post hoc insertions]. Were his [original answers in] Russian?
