I remember seeing Corrosion of Conformity at the 'Plex and Bad Brains. I used to have to sneak out of the house. I was only 15. Wow.
"I'm in deep south with Helen to learn about etiquette. Chinqui!"
Regarding the "Hip Hop and Social Responsibility" panel, I'm glad there is at least some effort to acknowledge the concept of responsibility in the hip hop community. I'm eager to see how this goes. Seriously. Is there also going to be a panel on basic etiquette?
I wonder, will the "Hip Hop and Social Responsibility" panel be anywhere near the WorldStarHipHop stage?
Nice mix of ignorant and conscious rap OJ Da Juice Man to Talib Kweli.

I saw 'em quite a bit back in their heyday. Bummed I didn't get a ticket for this weekend's shows - should be great.
I was lucky enough to get some tickets for the Saturday show. This band didn't put out a single album that was anything less than great.
Cool the comparison with baseball parks/stadiums.
Now if he'll just make peace with Elvis....
Chuck D is a very smart man and great ambassador for RSD.
We are happy to have Sunbrimmer as our neighbor!
I'm pumped to have this record store open so near to my house. Don't get me wrong; I love Criminal, and Wax n'Facts, and Moods, and Beatlab, and Fantasyland, and Full Moon, and Wuxtry, but few things beat a record store within walking distance of your house. I just hope Georgia Power doesn't mind, because my bills are going to be late these next couple of months.
Fair enough, RS Dull. That "Live: The Mongoloid Years" collection does look killer! I think both sets are supposed to be on the RSD "Live at Max's Kansas City" as opposed to just the first set on "The Mongoloid Years". Why didn't I mention that? I don't know.
It's a pretty weak crop this year. So much of this stuff has been out before on other formats or in other contexts.
The Devo SEEMS exciting, but that set has already been released on the "Live: The Mongoloid Years," which no one is mentioning for some reason. Also, Devo put out a "Live 1981" 2LP set a few years back, which seemed cool, but then a month or two later they put it out on CD with bonus tracks NOT on the LP edition...so why should I trust those guys?
As usual, Zano is articulate and insightful. Nice piece! Also, good questions, Chad.
Ybe.jayg@youtube Now he hot and he don't even wanna be famous
.....unless, of course, North Korea is your kind of vacation spot...
Sadly, thanks to advanced satellite tracking technology and surveillance, there is NO WHERE to live that is "OFF THE GRID"
