Re: “The Year in Photos 2013

Chad Radford strikes again! ATL Death Fest?? No one cares and that picture is terrible. What about when Sigur Ros played Chastain? Or when the Christ, Lord played Erikson Clock? Do you even know what that is? Then you have the Quiet Hounds playing The Atlanta History Center... Atl-J played Atlanta twice... The list goes on and on and on, but not a single mention here. Lets stop this hipster nonsense before it gets any worse.

Love these! Thank you for the stories! Why don't I ever see any female photographers working for CL?

Enjoyed the great shots. Being a native Atlantan, they show the diversity of it's people, places, and events. A very different perspective from the city I grew up in during the 60's and 70's. Back then, I don't think 99% of the people would have been able to define the word "sushi", besides having ever eaten any.

There's something about the megaphone picture that I don't like. I don't know what it is, and maybe that makes it a good picture. I think it may be the aggression--don't get me wrong the aggression is completely justifiable in the Martin/Zimmerman case. I for some reason can't help but see this woman having the same level of aggression at the Kroger on RDA and Cascade after the checkout person does something wrong.
