Asian women benefit from racial stereotypes. They enjoy and taken advantage of stereotypes because those stereotypes portray them as being attractive. Look at Census numbers, Asian women thoroughly out-compete women of all other backgrounds in the dating and marriage market.
The drugs are just a part of the scene for some people actually at any given show u would be surprised to know that between 5 and 10% are recovering addicts drinking redbull and dancing for the music. Ppl are there juat for the music and there are people there just to get high. I'm a little of both leaning more towards just love of edm
Tribulation Trail is no longer in business. But there is another alternative called Hell's Gates located in Dawsonville, GA. http://www.hellsgates.com

"Smitty calls his ol' lady Oriental for kicks during conceptual sex."
when i'm having conceptual sex i prefer to refer to my partner as the sound of a raindrop falling in a river
Oriental is a type of carpet.
"Also @smitty - you can't use the word "Oriental" when referring to a person of Asian decent. It's no longer PC."
This is America. You can't tell somebody what word they can use. Wait, what? We forgot what?
Smitty calls his ol' lady Oriental for kicks during conceptual sex.

Thanks to Christina for an informative article on what sounds like a real scummy place. Good luck to ATL/Asian women and ATL/yellowfevermen!
Sooo...I'm a tall, pasty, goofy, gangly descendant of Europeans. Where all the Asian women at? A/S/L?
I think some of y'all are missing the point. Read the sub-text below the title of the article: "Fusion Friday: A self-segregated nightlife spectacle or simply another ladies night?"
I'll agree, the article has no real conclusion or much of an argument. It's poorly written but I get what she's trying to emphasize (to some extent). Is this an attempt to gather Atlanta's "finest" Asian women into one spot for some eye-candy goodness OR is it smart marketing scheme for a bar to use? Remember, Atlanta has one of the highest Asian populations in the US [GA Tech, Emory, Duluth, Buford], so the potential to make money off of an "Asian" only night could be huge.
And I don't think the author hates Asians. I think she hates the FOB's who want to act like they're better than everyone else. I went to Emory so I've dealt with my fair share of Emory Asian Women acting like they got a tree trunk stuck up their ass. Their snobby, spoiled, and bitchy
I never said that smitty. You know I hate it when you call me East Asian
This article reads as just so much narcissism. "ooo I am so hot and Asian! Everybody wants me!" geesh get over yourself.
I created a CL account solely to respond to this article - Jesus, thank you for wasting my time reading this crap. Basically, you're saying that you're an Asian girl who goes to Asian promoted nights and gets mad there are a lot of Asians and creepy old guys who like Asians? Wow, there's a shocker there - shouldn't you expect that there will be lots of Asians?
I am an Asian female that works in this industry (hospitality for the bar/club/restaurant scene) and you're an idiot. I will NEVER go to an "Asian" night anywhere whether that's Vanquish/Reign/Opera/etc. Why segregate yourself? It's 2012, sweetheart. Maybe all of your friends are Asian so this is why you go, but I am 100% Asian and don't really have many Asian friends. So when you're saying the "Western" culture, I think that applies to me as well.
Also @smitty - you can't use the word "Oriental" when referring to a person of Asian decent. It's no longer PC. =)
Showed this article to an Oriental/East Asian friend and he recognized the girls from the picture. Said most of the girls are hotter than them and there are a lot of older black/white guys trying to cure their yellow fever.
You noted two movies where the asian girls were prostitutes....
For now, can someone please point to where I said that I hated Asians?
I have absolutely no doubt that a review of any given Chili's by a stoned 14-year-old would be more interesting and more poignant.
