I thought the dancers at 688 were from 'Section 88'... I won tix from 88.5, scored the album Combat Rock and a photo book on the band (which several of them signed) and was way lucky to get Ray, their road manager, to get us into the Fox the next night!
might be time for a name change.
I can't wait to hear what Tweet has in store for us with this album.
Album is pure fire..... Love it

Thanks for mentioning "Black Mountain Drone" edit by Outer Gods but unfortunately the soundcloud link that is provided is incorrect. The correct link is https://soundcloud.com/info-952-4/outer-go…
How you not gonna have The Augusta Rappers? Pastor Troy, Southern Playas, Duice...too many to name but they should have been in there. Dickey Ride? Dazzey Duks? No Mo Play In GA?
Very disrespectful taking photos and recording his concert as it was made crystal clear to ticket holders none was permitted. Nor do I wish to see your phones and other devices light up all around the theatre. It's distracting and unnecessary. Just enjoy the show and STOP with the cell phones. Any show. There is no reason whatsoever to have to scroll through your f-ing FB while at a concert, play, movie -- whatever. Ridiculous.
I was there in 1962, but they say it opened in 1070. Time warp
Great article all around. Thank you.
the dates are off by one day. today is the 29th.
I probably got paid 10 or 15 bucks...back in 1973/74 that probably paid the rent for a week.
