Eric Fucking Antell!!!!!!! YOU FUCKING SUCK SO BAD! Did you record this in Town Center mall? Was it recorded in the break room of hot topic in between shifts? did you leave your punker kids at the Chuck-e-cheeses down the street? Did you pay that pop-punk loser Joe Queer in punker burgers you got from the Highlander? Did your fat oi waitress girlfriend get them with her discount? Did you save some money to record more rancid style street punk riffs? The tough streets of Marietta sure are the world for hardcore angry street dads like you and your punker burger munching band mates. Have you been signed to Epitaph records yet? Should there be a section for Marietta Kid Punx and keep it separate from actual adult music. OH wait after this review creative loafing will probably announce the comeback of Cousin Fucking Dan and his street punk band the "Glitterdicks". Seriously can we get a least one band that can actually play their instruments? PLEASE FOR GOD SAKE!!!!!
"Liberals"/"progressives" are "funny" ....just not intentionally.
Thank you! it is Hold Your Ground not Stand but hell, whatever.. all the same. Cheers
These guys are legit.
Stomp and Stammer just proves that Republicans can't be funny. Just ask Dennis Miller
This mag is "reprehesible." The other philosophy is HORROR! Music is liberal! Conservatives eat babies! Booga Booga Booga!!
"Music is a progressive enterprise by nature."
You mean like...scales?
That is the funniest line I've heard all week.
What is reprehesible about S and S is not the slagging off of bands, but the horrific neo-con politics. Disgusting. Music is a progressive enterprise by nature.
"I can handle it. A lot of people are afraid of not being liked. For most of my adult life I've never had that fear." Greatest Quote
I've always respected Jeff's straightforward and honest philosophy. One of the few guys who put the BackPockets in their place...
Thanks for keeping it real
I've been both abused and welcomed by Jeff Clark. I remember being verbally eviscerated by Clark at the old Cotton Club in midtown (and vice versa) circa '95 or '96, and subsequently finding common ground digitally in '07 or '08. He's a no-BS guy and non BS guys appreciate this. even when one's BS detector is being recalibrated. End of the day, this guy is an asset, not a liability. Keep rockin' JC!
Jeff - you da man!
Thanks for - in 1998 - alerting me to the existence of my now favorite band, Nashville Pussy. I saw the pic of Ruyter in her Captain America rockstar pants in Stomp and Stammer and thought I was going to The Point to see a novelty act. Boy was I wrong!
Thanks also for a million laughs at the expense of dweebs, posers, losers and hacks.
Keep up the good fight.
kinda pissed that i missed this show.
I think there should be a Ryan Dinosaur live set, at least once. That right there would be working with these bands in a different capacity.
i was at this show with three of my friends. and as a black metal fan this was a huge dream come true. european black metal bands of this caliber NEVER come to ATL but the Hell Goat/Sadistic Ritual guys who set up this show really did something special!!!
Mz. Lady you are too funny and so real...You bring spice and sass to Hollywood Exes...and I'm waiting on Le Pink Kitty dance fitness dvd.....
I found out Bob past months after he past. We normally didn't talk during Santa months only to trim his hair. Yes I cut his hair and beard a lot as well as being a music client. Can someone in the family email me and let me know where he is buried if he was buried. I have always wanted to say goodbye. My daughters miss Uncle Bob. Last time we spoke me and my daughters were his guests at the Aquarium. I always hugged him and told him I loved him.
Funny and satirical piece written...
fuckget™ about everything.
Sam Beam of Iron & Wine is correct. Please send your contact info to firstname.lastname@example.org and we'll get you set up with two tickets for tonight's show.
