I guess some of us need to watch walking dead and not browse Creative loafing, then, huh?
I hope season three follows T dog to the coast, and leaves the group full of impractical, sour-faced winers to get eaten by the next swarm passing through.
Thanks for the spoiler, ass-hats!
"Note, the interview took place prior to the airing of episode 11, Judge, Jury Executioner, in which Dale (Jeffrey DeMunn) dies."
Some of us lead busy lives and watch the show on our DVRs when we can. A little warning in CAPS AND *&^$&% would be helpful...
Hi Brian ,
I think your work is very interesting. My brothers father-in law collected books for years and we finally cleaned out his house, we must have over 55,000 books and I was wondering if you would be interested in them. Please contact me at jlnichols2000@yahoo.com I would really be interested in talking to you. Thank You
Love this guy
We couldn't have asked for a better 'Ambassador' for our city or it's artists. Very proud to know you. Keep-On Pressing-On! :) - Billy Cousins
I don't now if anyone can help here but I'd like to send Mr. Daniels a thank you card. His CDs and the Youtube videos of him have kept me going through the death of my partner of 25 years. We both loved hearing him sing and reading the interviews and all that. Steve learned to love opera by listening to Mr. Daniels. As I've said before, his music has really helped me through my grief.

I agree with Bookie! When I think of Gideon iI picture you!! Is this the end of Gideon?! I hope not! And yes there should be a movie!!
Yeah, dude might be on to something. I've pretty much been applying this theory to Prince for decades now, especially through that god-awful gospel/jazz phase. But I keep holding out hope that he might dumb it down with some Sign of the Times flavor for us slow folk.
Except... artists who smoke a lot of pot seem to get worse. I'm thinking of George Michael and Chrissie Hynde.
But I'm willing to give your theory a try with Lucinda Williams.
Josh and Barbara, I had the honor of working with both of you. I was excited to find this site and these words that let me know a little about where and what you might be doing. I'm not a bit surprised about Barbara, but Josh, I didn't see it coming for you to be in the military. Please take care of yourself. I thought by now you'd have my job; that's what you always said you wanted. Love, former Drama teacher
Interesting publishing idea-look forward to seeing how it turns out. Also the book; Godspeed, Mr Fulmer.
I remember the days when Will Smith was called a "sell out" when he started acting.
Reading anything you pen, but especially your novels is always bitter sweet to me. I'm always happy to see a new one coming out. Overjoyed and wildly abused when reading it, but totally disappointed when I get to the end knowing I have to wait for the next one.

Mr. Dickey, I loved Res.Midnight! I could not put the book down. When is the movie coming out? Why don't you ask Tyler Perry to help you out?
Also, until your latest book I thought Gideon was Black, But when a character asked his nationality the repy was something like "I couldn't tell". For some reason when I see Gideon I see you.
Thanks for an excellent read.

I love to learn more about what goes on behind the scenes in dance and theatre, and it's great to get a glimpse of what goes in in Twyla Tharp's world. Amazing what goes in to putting a show together!

Great convo between the two of you! I like how EJD explained the development of the "Gideon" character. Good job getting him to talk about various facets of writing and the biz of writing.
This interview is very insightful. The line of questioning flowed naturally and addressed many questions I was pondering. Great Job!
LOL! @Forrest
Great article/conversation! I bet the writer's HOT!
