Re: “Atlanta Veg Fest 2014

I've been vegan for 26 years and consider it one of the best decisions of my life (my doctor agrees). I lost 25 lbs and kept it off all these years!

Here's a short video to help everyone understand why so many people are making this life affirming choice and why the number of vegans has doubled in the US in less than 3 years.:

Also, here's a link for everyone who wants to join the revolution:…

Re: “Atlanta Lobster Festival

Was the worst festival ever. We got there @ 2:30 and they were already running out of food which was crazy because the event was supposed to last til 6pm. The first hour we got there, we stood in line for drinks!! I mean how long does it take to pour a drink! Then I stood in line for 45 min to get a taste of lobster and corn was ok stood in line for 2 1/2 hrs just trying to taste some hush puppies! I finally gave up. I didnot even get to use all my tickets because the lines were horribly long. I was there from 230 to 515 and all I got to taste was a bowl of soup and some nasty lobster salad or something . They did not have enough man power for the masses. Also whoever was cooking the hush puppies came with two small deep fryers, not a king cooker! They could only fry a few hush puppies @ a time and were giving people 10-12 hush puppies which was ridiculous when the line was soooo Long. So we paid 100 for nothing!!! I will never support this event again!! They should be giving refunds out!!!
If I could give a -0 I would! Total rip off!!!

Re: “Atlanta Lobster Festival

Awful ripoff of the public. Needs to be investigated. Social media sites are alight with extreme anger. They ran out of food at this "food festival" and continued to sell tickets. Organizers will not issue a public statement.

Re: “Ernest "EQ" Quarles Jazz Night

I have been there with friends many times and thoroughly enjoy the musical talent of Ernest Quarles and his band. He has made songs you know his own, putting his own spin on them and has his own original music as well. Definitely a must do on a Friday night!

Re: “Ernest "EQ" Quarles Jazz Night

I am from Music City (Nashville) and this brother's musical talents are incredible. He is creative which compliments a natural God given talent to play the guitar. His vocals are solid which supports his ability write his own music. I encourage you to buy his CD (Equinox). Well worth your enjoyment!
