Re: “Bessie Branham Park

OMG - This was the first time this event was put on, and it was unbelievable. There must have been a couple thousand people in attendance! Music was great, the line procession was fantastic, and so family friendly. What a great time!!! Lanta Gras is definitely going to be the new Mardi Gras for Atlanta.

Re: “The Drunken Unicorn

Seeing #Bully perform at The Drunken Unicorn January 31st, and I'm PUMPED. Haven't seen a live show here yet, but Bully is going to be awesome. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCfFUV2Xe7z8iFLXYqsV2rZw

Re: “Shoya Izakaya

Ate here for the first time tonight and I thought it was great! Salmon Sashimi and Tuna Tartare were yummy. Service was fast.

And to Princess111: That is the most ridiculous review I have ever read. How embarrassing. Please don't ever go out to eat at a decent restaurant again. If you cannot afford to tip (at least 20%) then you cannot afford to go out to eat.

Re: “Johnnie Maccracken's Celtic Pub

I was charged for drinks I did not order twice by the same bartender. I gave my information to be contacted by a manager, however, the bartender who over charged me got my information and proceeded to text to me. It was utterly unprofessional. I made several attempts to resolve the issue but it seems there is actually no manager. I urge any person who goes to this pub to review your tabs. The bartender actually ripped the itemized part of off mine thinking I would not notice or that I was intoxicated. That was definitely not the case. There are several other reviews stating similar situations so I'm quite sure she is the culprit. I have reported the company to the Better Business Bureau and I advise any person who experience similar issues to do the same. It is obviously consistent behavior. Hopefully my review will keep this from occurring to anyone else. Check out other bars in the area. I never have issues at Nick's. It's a pretty laid back dive bar as well!

Re: “The Pet Set

Truly caring and loving to your dogs. I had an emergency situation and they took her right in. Best pet care I've ever received and I've had dogs all my life.

Re: “Fred's Place

This review has just come to our attention. I would like to start by thanking the reviewers for their kind words. At Fred's place our goal is to serve every customer, fresh food as fast as possible. However, due to high demand sometimes we are not able to serve customers as fast as they would like to be served. We have options for those customers who don't like to wait in line to order on our APP and our website where they can prepay and have the food delivered, or pick up at our location without a wait time. As far as the employees at our restaurant are concerned, they know we have a high expectation of cleanliness and they all abide by the rules, even management. At Fred's we don't treat employees as tools that can be replaced when they no longer work at 100% efficiency. They have been with us since the business was started and will always have a place to work until they decide otherwise. Part of our success is attributed to their hard work and dedication and to that we are thankful to them. We are a family and therefore we do not tolerate customers being rude to any of them. If you are not satisfied with the service, quality of food, or our alleged unclean restaurant, please feel free to eat at any of the other restaurants in the area.

Re: “Himitsu

Fuyuhiko Ito and Lisa Matsuoka Ito must be laughing all the way to the bank. Umi is a great sushi restaurant but what's up with their prices. They've made so much money that they are already opening another venue? Reservation only cocktail bar? Ridiculous, never would I make a reservation to meet friends for cocktails. I have a life, a busy life!

Re: “Ticonderoga Club

I agree with everything in this review and would like to add that this place is run by an amazing set of owners and staff. I've been 2-3 times already, and they have treated me and my friends incredibly well. Several of the service staff formerly worked for Reagan and Greg at Holeman and Finch, and I recognized them immediately. The fact that years later they are willing to follow them over to a brand new place speaks volumes for what kind of people run this restaurant. It is people who care a great deal about the level of service and have a lot of love for both their patrons and their staff. This is a rarer combination than it should in the service industry, a lot of places struggle getting it right. I'm excited to see this place flourish over the next few years. It is a total gem. And I will be a regular customer for life.

well....whats up with it?

Re: “Porch Light Latin Kitchen

Breath of fresh air for Smyrna and the waste land of restaurants in the area. Andre is doing great things with his dishes. Flavor is at the forefront of every dish. Limited menu which keeps it fresh and focused.

Still working out some new restaurant kinks but give this place time and it will hold weight to any intown restaurant
