He grew up in Northwest Atlanta, probably from Cobb county himself. Don't agree with the stadium move either, but it is a solid move by the Braves and Wren. Blame Kasim Reed for dropping the ball "literally" on this one.
Great shirts on the Rep Your Hood site. Plus, the female models are fucking HOT.
Lastly, let me be the 3rd person to mention Rep Your Hood.
"we might be the first generation of people that are truly proud to be from Atlanta."
Nope. This kid needs to get out of the house more often.
Also, Rodney, I think that last paragraph should have a "versus" inserted instead of "verses", unless you're going for a poetry slam vibe.
Bend over Clay. Asswhipe. Not many people in Cobb County want the Braves.
I can suggest about 200 places to hang out tonight if you're nostalgic for "gritty" and/or "Wild West" Atlanta.
Reverse the trend, vote Jason Carter, #savewras
So, these guys get to capitalize off nostalgia and the real underhanded shit going down without doing anything to address it?
Where's the Murder Kroger tee?
No Love for REP YOUR HOOD? Please look them up...dope shirts created for people wanting to show neighborhood pride! A shout out would be nice.

When out thrifting I'm always on the lookout for Eastern Airlines logo stuff. If you see any, Tweet me right away.
Man am I glad I clicked on this article, I agree with all of you about this topic. And its sure-as-hell good to know that its other NATIVE ATLIENS who feel the way I do
What's old is new again-- ad infinitum!
I agree with much of this, but y'all are certainly not "the first generation of people that are truly proud to be from Atlanta." Those of us who watched our city birth and nurture the civil rights movement in the 60s while Delta Air Lines and Coca-Cola made ATL an international business hub, have plenty of civic pride. We love Outkast, but we're not at all sure that it was Andre and Big Boi who "put [us] on the map." ;)
Well said!! ATLalien for life!!!
