I agree with The Gorgoeous JR
Chud, are you taking money to push these "reviews" of turrible artists?
The song "Fire!" from their first album is still an indie classic.
cd release shindigg this saturday!
Thanks for the review!

I will say one good thing about Baby Baby; they get a lot of cute girls at their shows, and those cute girls like Baby Baby so you know they are used to making bad decisions.
Chase has cleared up the lyrics of "Knee High" for me, which don't say "ready to rock": "Fat man's at the door and he brought the whole team yeah, you shoulda' seen 'em. Said I had a warrant never received a subpoena. I must be dreaming. Raised outlaw, never followed with the flock, sniff every rat out, run every road block. Too damn fast and invisible to cops, I don't stop. (since I been) Knee High READY TO RIDE on the toughest team around. In the line of fire Johnny Law demands surrender. Never. Never surrender. Donned as a rider, never mixed up with pretenders, a heartless sinner. Raised outlaw never followed with the flock, sniff every rat out, run every road block. Too damn fast and invisible to cops I don't stop. (since i been) Knee high READY TO RIDE on the toughest team around."
Record makes a great Frisbee
There was about one or zero good songs on each side. My 3LP set came with stickers and poster/lyrics on back side. The song that they get to eventually was very dveloped well and good but not as good a Psychic T.V. or some Soundcloud.com/LegitimateEdgar consistantcy. I would congratulate SWANS for their honest effor but I alreadyy tossed the records into the caspian Sea like a frisbee
If you guys need me, I'll be over here standing as a counterpart from a parallel universe where any and all hippy-dippy musical and conceptual inclinations have been swapped out for Teusink's dark, psychological ramblings.
Man, this guy's snarling and confrontational stomp wrapped in gypsy-esque dirges of reverb, distortion, and lyrical themes of depression really scared the piss out of me.
Wow, well written, very thought out review.
Saw them at Floydfest this summer. Such a great live band! Lauren has a beautiful voice and this album is great.
I can't even front, that is the most boring album cover / album title combo I have seen in a looong time.
meh. i still don't get the appeal.
Album is fantastic. 5/5
