I thought Kwanza was a holiday
Butler being pro-Brookhaven, pro-baby cities and associated with the Boyer is enough for my vote for one of her opponents. Danese seems to make some sense.
It is absurd and indicative of the gross negligence inflicted by city leaders on the cultural community. When this ordinance was brought before NPU's ( neighborhood planning units) and Zoning Review Board this past spring it was shot down unanimously. Why does ATL have to revisit and wallow in this type of stupidity?
It'd nice to get the streetcar going good before we think about expanding it.
wow. district 12's disgrace is exposed to the world
Could this be the legislation that finally makes Atlanta a world class city, yall?
Memorial would be perfect to begin the expansion of the Streetcar.
"Hedge Fund Manager and Corporate Raider Mitt Romney thinks it's balogna to paint Hedge Fund Manager and Corporate Raider David Perdue as a Hedge Fund Manager and Corporate Raider"
Create a framework of planning goals and hope to get developers to buy into it? This is Atlanta, home of the unscrupulous, quick-profit developer. If there is any hope of transformative change and development that isn't the same sprawling garbage there have got to be ironclad zoning and building requirements in place. Great effort, but this thing needs major teeth.
Actually, it's the Lone Ranger.
Look around the fee markets.
The military does not prefer criminals.
I'm pretty sure he said it "should" involve complete streets.
Is this the same Dobbins that said the new Falcons stadium would include "complete streets," right before the Falcons released plans for the mother of all parking decks and surface parking lots? Yikes!
Can the lawsuit not be appeal to a higher court?
Also, what happens when those 40,000+ people who were registering to vote are prevented from voting on election day, thus violating the 15th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution?
Is there a 15th Amendment Police that will come down on Secretary of State Brian Kemp with the total wrath of heaven?
Your link to the Facebook group is broken.
"Lawsuit demanding secretary of state to process thousands of voter registration applications tossed out."
The judge was a Republican. They are like the Borg - no independent thought allowed.
haha I like that button that looks like Zorro - where can I buy it? :)
I live on Memorial and like all the cool abandoned buildings !
If I could ride the train to Southlake Mall, I could go to Jimmy Jazz and get all the beanies by myself :^)
"I'm for closing down GA 400. More than any other highway 400 has the highest percentage of drivers who are awful people."
Wow that sounds insane. You don't shut down infrastructure you spent good money on because of the maladaptive behavior of a few bad apples. You use your brain to make smart choices to make it more attractive for them to make their own good choice.
