Funny that she brings up a sports team. I don't know any sports team that has 88 players on the field. And even then, the number of support staff outnumber the players.
Yeah..... As if there is no modern statistical reason to associate blacks and violent crime in Atlanta.
Very Sad. I remember going there to eat back in 1964, it was a short walk from the Atlanta Crackers Baseball Stadium. I have many memories from this great restaurant.
Sad news. I love going to that Zesto's. They have the best soft-serve in the city plus, it has a drive-thru which none of the other nearby Zesto's have.
world class stuff for a world class city
I would hate to be the guy who has to clean all that grease off the walls (and floors, and ceilings and...).
^Not surprising. This is a man that gets off on the sound of his own noise. There's no room for eating with his incessant droning.
Glad I wasn't there for that bullshit.
Lol so these little fuckups of yours aren't rare is what you're telling me. Yes, it's highly improbable that multiple people would notice how stupid you are.
But tell me, was it a spelling error (that you made twice), or was it you not knowing the name of a place that you supposedly visited?
From the look on Bush's face it wasn't a very hearty endorsement. Either that or he just eat a handful of prunes.
Romanstein and Hensen know each other well. There are many similarities between the ASO and MO partly because there is a familial overlap.
And it's funny that leery is all obsessed about spelling, I vaguely remember some other D bag who used to troll this site and do the same thing....
actually, word is, he didn't eat anything.
I did not call Marta police.....the woman and children were actually with him. He was dressed in an immaculately clean little NY Yankee pinstripe short and shirt set. He was agitated, walking back and forth calling the woman a MF this, CS whore that. The kids nonchalance said they have seen it all before, the woman was holding her chin up looking like she was ready to get jacked, and take it, like she had many times before.
Welcome to Atlanta
Why any management team would want a repeat of the Minnesota Orchestra lockout is entirely beyond me. Are they deliberately copying the Minnesota debacle, or are they too dense to realize the similarities? Atlanta, apply all the pressure you can to get these slippery decision-makers out of power.
Seriously expecting Cliff Bostock told hold a memorial ceremony. Any details concerning time and date of upcoming service would be greatly appreciated.
"Might I suggest https://adblockplus.org/ ?"
I actually am blocking, but I'm always seeking out things to complain about.
"PLEASE don't use Adblock Plus on sites (like CL) that don't deserve it."
They all deserve it because it's a matter of privacy. I can deal with an annoying popup here and there, but I don't fancy being tracked all over the web. These "marketing" companies that partner with sites like CL are doing more than just serving up ads. They're profiling you and selling that info to anyone who'll buy...insurance companies for instance. So you can't search for "diabetes" or "HIV" or "hypertension" without them knowing. Imagine the implications. And then go to http://www.abine.com/ or http://www.ghostery.com/. And http://torproject.org/ too.
Read the criteria in the act and tell me what areas in Atlanta are not "eligible": http://www.achp.gov/docs/nhpa%202008-final…
This guidance may help you some (This is where 50 years comes in): http://www.nps.gov/nr/publications/bulleti…
You want to pay the high cost for living in a historic area great, no one is stopping you. But don't force it on the whole city where some of us need a reasonable cost of living and don't mind vacant buildings being demolished, re-purposed as new denser urban homes which bring new neighbors instead of an empty husk.
Wheatley you evil bastard.
Oh snap! Soundbite THAT!
I'm writing a grant application requesting cash to hire 24 people who will do nothing but pen Soundbites posts.
