Is it Art?

Some people consider the Fox Theatre or Margaret Mitchell important Atlanta icons, but more savvy locals know that Willy Terry, the man with the well-packed bicycle shorts, cane and the friendly smile is an Atlanta institution worth celebrating. In recognition of Mr. Terry's contributions to the city's landscape, some clever, unknown culture jammer has created a special, well-executed street sign featuring a silhouette of the local celebrity. The sign has a tendency to disappear and then pop up again at random intervals, but look closely the next time you're at the corner of Briarcliff Road and Ponce de Leon Avenue, and you might just get lucky.
