Favorite Places

Once a commuter school with little character, Georgia State has become a more complete university with new dorms and a strong commitment to enhancing its downtown Atlanta campus. Among the most notable activities of public interest are performances at the Rialto Center (see music venues), WRAS (88.5-FM) radio, Cinefest Theatre, and GSU Panther basketball.
    WonderRoot
A non-profit arts and services organization, WonderRoot is a community meeting place, arts gallery, and event space located on the southern fringes of ATL’s Reynoldstown neighborhood. Establishing its wonderful roots in 2004, WonderRoot provides production space, workshops, hosts art exhibitions and live performances, and focuses on uniting artists and inspiring social change around the arts.
