Re: “Kraftwerk, Dan Deacon, Flying Lotus, and more scenes from Moogfest 2014

Wolf Eyes was great, infernal techno, as they always are. I thought the Kraftwerk show at 10pm on Friday was a LOT better than the one on Thursday. Personally, there seemed to be too many overlaps/scheduling conflicts. There really weren't even that many acts that I wanted to see over the 5 days of Moogfest, but EVERYTHING that I did want to see was scheduled at times when there were other things that I wanted to see. Other highlights: Egyptian Lover, Dave Tompkins' talk with Giorgio Moroder, "I Dream of Wires" documentary, M.I.A., OH and the Pet Shop Boys were surprisingly good.

Re: “Record Store Day Must-Haves

Fair enough, RS Dull. That "Live: The Mongoloid Years" collection does look killer! I think both sets are supposed to be on the RSD "Live at Max's Kansas City" as opposed to just the first set on "The Mongoloid Years". Why didn't I mention that? I don't know.
