Archers of Loaf vs. the Greatest of All Time ep.
I went to San Francisco this past summer and one of the things I noticed was that almost all of the bars and restaurants I went to were cash only. Each one had a little ATM machine of course. I wondered if the trend would make it to Atlanta (I have heard of a similar trend in NYC). Once it becomes commonplace people get used to it I suppose...but there are surely growing pains for the first few places that start the trend.
Steve Brown is the Atlanta's best kept photography secret. I am looking for a girlfriend (and 2 cats) so he will take my photo. Actually I used to be one of his favorite subjects back when he shot lots of skateboarders. One night after going to a skatepark he dropped me off and then ran over my skateboard with his car, breaking it in half. Instead of being mad I was honored because I knew someday he would get famous and I could tell the story. A photo he took of me is framed over my TV and now I am going to try to ebay it cause I need the money (to get the cats).
Including your first comment I counted a total of 4 shout-outs to me. Take that everyone else!
1) You can order unsweet.
2) DC weather sucks.
3) I saw you and your kid eating at a bar just last night.
4) You mean hop in your boyfriend's brother's car? : )
5) I wouldn't brag about chemistry with our nation's capitol.
Just being silly of course. You know I will miss you very much. Holla!!!
While not a perfect film at all, I fear bad reviews by people who don't "get it" and poor box office numbers are going to mean it goes away quickly. However I predict this will be one of the cult classics film students will disect in the future. It's a shame that most poeple won't see it on the big screen.
