I grew up in Brookhaven in the 1950s and 60s, back when it was more of a village than a suburb. It was a great place to grow up. It had sort of a "Leave it to Beaver" meets "Cheech and Chong" vibe. As a youngster I was well aquainted with the Goodwin house. It was often a place we stopped by while on our daily bike expeditions. I remember that there was a small family cemetary on the grounds of the house with graves dating back to the mid 19th century. Does anyone know if the cemetary is still there and if it is, what will any new owners do with it? It seems bad enough to disturb a historic house, much less a historic cemetary
I would love to bend you over and drive you to the airport.
