So my roommate and I decide to check out this place since it won "Best Neighborhood Bar 2006" in Creative Loafing. After dining there, I can tell you why it won. It's a great asset to the residents who live above it. They have a nice patio space and an excellent beer selection.
That said, it's not worth a trip. The establishment is a bar pretending to be a lounge. The menu was pretentious as was the mood-lighting. My roommate and I agreed that the entrees were nothing special and certainly no bargain. When I placed my order I was informed that I could not have a spinach salad due to the threat of E. Coli poisoning. Don't they wash the produce before serving it? This place appears to still be working out its kinks.
