Re: “Atlanta City Council, whether it knows it or not, essentially supported demolition of Downtown's Central Library on Monday

Absurd is too formal and polite a word for what these vandals are proposing.

Re: “Cobb lawmakers are shocked — SHOCKED — by AIDS art exhibit at KSU

Meanwhile, the former Cobb County GOP chair just got arrested for being a child molester. Talk about "sickening."

Re: “What will happen to Atlanta's Central Library, an architecturally significant but undervalued building?

"Politically dangerous" is wasting taxpayer money on a new building that is not needed and continuing to underfund the staff and Central Library that we already have. Do the right thing and renovate the existing building.

Look at the plaudits the Metropolitan Museum of Art is receiving for the museum's sensitive rehabilitation of the library's sister building in NY (the former Whitney Museum)

The Fulton County Library Commission would be idiots for not doing the same...

Re: “Proposed PATH trail from Freedom Park to Emory Village meets Druid Hills opposition

@karyae @jurban8 - actually it was the streetcar, and not the automobile, that facilitated development in Druid Hills, much like it was for most, if not all of Atlanta's late-nineteenth-and-early-twentieth century suburbs.
