This is a pretentious purveyor mexican putrescence. Not what you would excpect from a good mexican restaurant at all. I almost left when the host that seated me made me take off my ball cap. I guess I looked like a nascar fan and would muddle their image. The food was $20 a plate and I didn't recognize any of the dishes. We had a difficult time making a selection because nothing was familiar. This place has twisted and bent the traditional mexican dishes beyond recognition or have completely eliminated them from the selection. Don't come here looking for a good chimichanga or burrito.
The drinks finally arrived...the beer was not cold and the margaritas were served in small cocktail glasses. The food was marginal at best. The beans and rice come in small community bowls you have to pass around the table and there was not enough to go around. The tortillas that come with the meal are very small but not as small as your entree. The whole thing was ackward and mismatched. I was disappointed on every level. The check wasn't even itemized. Vaya con dios muchachos...you won't be seeing this gringo again.
