GOD!!! The money is coming from GOD!
Its a miracle!!!
Asians make up almost 13% of the student body. Where are all the Asians? I don't see any Asians in the crowd! Why are there no Asians?
Frankly I don't see a problem with the crowd being 80% black on those 2 days nothing at all. This whole article is rather silly to me. Are people that don't enjoy the music supposed to show up just for the sake of diversity? No. Is the music wrong just because some don't like it? No.
This is a non-issue.
Wow, Atlanta is so very lucky, we will now have 2 glorious landmarks very close together, the other being the wonderful torch just a couple exits up from the Corey Boner.
I think Corey was being a bit modest, this will also rank right up there with the Eiffel Tower and Golden Gate Bridge.
"more than $380 million could be passed onto the energy company's 2.3 million customers."
You mean Georgia Power RESIDENTIAL customers. When the Georgia legislature passed the bill that requires the prepayment, they left businesses off the hook, business are not prepaying.
The Georgia legislature was not about to let the PSC make the prepay decision. The Georgia Power lobbyists made sure they got their bill passed. Funny thing, Georgia Power is partnering with a couple of other utility companies on the nuke project, but the other companies aren't charging their customers in advance. The fact that Georgia Power actually profits from the overruns is obscene.
"Contemporary commercial journalism is essentially a mix of crime stories, celebrity profiles, consumer news pitched at the upper middle class, and warmed over press releases."
Right now, top ajc.com headine/story..."Remembering The Bronco Chase" and "Fleeing Suspect Injured When Struck By Police Car" of course there is also this headline, "Kris Jenner: Kim 'Thrilled' for new baby"
"Anyone care to check campaign contributions to Reed vs. the firms selected in all this?"
Why Reed? The state run Georgia World Congress is the public agency that is responsible for approving contracts. Maybe you should check Deal's contributions, oh, but wait that doesn't exactly fit your usual boogeyman does it, Vox?
I kicked my 3-4 can a day Coke Classic habit 2 years ago. About a month ago I gave one a try and hated it. It was like drinking a can of syrup it was so sugary. It also had a strong taste of vanilla which I must have gotten used to. They taste a lot different when you haven't had one in a long time.
Like InAtl I replaced my Coke habit with water and a squeeze of lemon.
