Straight men don't want to be confused as gay. We take pride in our own sexuality and gender roles, and we don't prefer nor care for those of homosexuals. So to eat a Snickers bar and wind up touching lips would in fact concern even an open-minded, politically correct hetero-sexual male that someone might identify him with an improper group (homosexuals). That's just normal. I'm sure a gay male would not care to be improperly thought of as hetero.
