I've known Monica since her family moved into the apartment on Perrysville across the street from mine. She was about 10 or 12 years old at the time. She and her siblings were good children. I watched them grow up. At that time, the gang actvity in the neighborhood was very prevalent yet they didn't seem to ever have anything to do with it.They just stayed to themselves. It is sad to hear that this has happened to her. But what is even sadder is that not once in recent months have I heard or read one thing about her here in the Atlanta area news. Unfortunately, she has been forgotten by most. If her mother sees this please know that I have not forgotten her. I think of her nearly every day. She is about the same age as my own daughter. "Where there's a will... there's a way." Hopefully some way your child will come home to you. We just have to believe that.
