Re: “Airbnb, meet the Georgia General Assembly

"Years of lobbying by the trade association, which enjoys a strong presence at the Gold Dome"

---

I'm fairly certain that if this was the case they wouldn't have ended up with the $5 per night fee in the transportation bill. Calling their sphere of influence at the Capitol a strong presence is a bit of a stretch.

Re: “Confederate license plates are OK with me, Deal says, then changes his mind (kind of)

I find it hilarious this article conveniently chose to omit Jason Carter's own support for the SCV tag during his run for Governor last year. Never change, CL.

Re: “What to do with Howell Mill Road north of the Waterworks?

Adding bike lanes to Howell Mill would be a complete and utter disaster.

Anyone who thinks otherwise is a buffoon.

Re: “Dozens arrested, Downtown connector blocked, windows broken in Ferguson protest in Atlanta

"The group, now numbering in the hundreds, peacefully marched north on Forsyth and Peachtree streets. Along the way, some people began to destroy property: a taxicab window was shattered, rocks were thrown through a window at the Meehan's Downtown location, and a Wells Fargo branch's glass was shattered. Other people destroyed construction signs, toppled newspaper boxes, and knocked over Peachtree Center's decorative Christmas trees."

So they marched peacefully while destroying and damaging property. Got it. I love CL, but grafs like this will never cease to amuse me.

Re: “Whaaat! Georgia officials forgot to send Lil Jon an absentee ballot (Update)

Georgia doesn't send absentee voter ballots, that's up to Fulton county, but than again why fact check something when it already fits your false narrative.

Re: “Fort to Reed: Have you no shame in trying to shut off Peachtree-Pine's water?

Go fuck yourself Vincent.

Try living near that blight and dealing with the constant garbage, open air drug use, prostitution and general lack or regard for anyone that is pervasive there. They've had their chance to get their act together and have refused at every point. The PP Shelter are pathetic enablers masquerading as advocates for the homeless. Good riddance.
