Nice work, Besha. Looking forward to Greg's pieces.
Thanks for keeping hope (and facts) alive. Power to the foodie people.
Very nice find. I agree it shouldn't be so hard to get a simple salad right. Liking the new column.
Can't wait to try out these ethnic dishes. Thanks for getting specific with the picks. Would like to see more finds and coverage in neighborhoods south of downtown, e.g. College Park, East Point, Hapeville. These 'hoods don't seem to get much culinary lovin.
Nice job on the late-night eats reporting, ladies! (It was worth the read alone for the line about the roaming mariachis: "Just don't look them in the eyes - that's how they get you.") Thought you might appreciate the fact that I hit Spondivits (on Virginia Ave.) last Wednesday evening. Surprised to learn that they serve until 4 a.m. every night of the week. If you're picking up a late-night arrival at the airport and they can handle a bucket of seafood, that's one more option.
I tried Pizzeria Forunato's namesake pizza this week. Really good. I hear they also offer specials on the weekend (Thurs-Sun) -- items like veal chops and soft-shell crabs. Loved the little patio and open-air indoor seating. Such a great find. Friendly neighborhood feel.
