Re: “Okay, okay: the AJC does permit use of pen names

As a food blogger, I just don't get the whole pseudonym thing. It strikes me as pretty vain to think that restaurants are going to google your name until they find a photo of you...and then what? Post it at the hostess stand so they can keep an eye out for you on the off chance you might come in? Sure, I don't put my photo on my blog, but if someone cares enough they can track down my picture. I'm a food blogger, for goodness sake, not a CIA agent, so who really cares if someone figures out who I am?

Re: “"Dexter" Season 5, Episode 1

Did anyone notice that Quinn looked disturbingly man-orexic compared to last season?!

Re: “Death row inmate granted temporary stay after apparent suicide attempt

Wait so if you want to die, you can't die? You can only kill someone who doesn't want to be killed. Go figure.

Re: “I Love New York

Love this article. I'm a native Atlantan who just moved back after 2.5 years in NYC. I loved NY - the great restaurants, theater, the big city environment, but I was tired of living in 400 square feet and paying $2100 for the right. I loved being able to walk everywhere, but there were times when I longed to be able to drive on an errand. I loved living in a cool neighborhood like Nolita, but now I live in one of Atlanta's coolest neighborhoods, Inman Park, and I can do so without having to hear constant street noise.

My boyfriend and I chose to move to Atlanta to be in a place where we could see ourselves actually having a home and raising a family, something it's hard to envision in NY. People in NY sometimes talk like Atlanta is a small town, but we have 5 million people, lots of young professionals, and enough great food to keep even a NY food snob satisfied.
