Yea... she's making it even better for pedofiles. why are they trying to make little girls grow up so fast?!? it's not cute when 11 year olds want to come into my store and try on the stripper shoes. what's next... baby thongs?
oh... and the pizza IS that good! the only place i've found that can hold their own is Rosa's Pizza... who's pizza actually tastes like real NY pizza (if y'all want to know what it tasts like). But, I found out that the owners and chefs there are from NY so that explains that. other than that you get pizza i compare to pizza hut or papa john's. I'm so glad i'm going back up for a visit this month... it'll be like a breath of fresh air (even if you can't really get one in NY, even though ny is funky in scent our smog problem in ATL isn't much to brag about either)
Atlanta is great for it's weather (except the summer), nice trees and landscaping everywhere, and yes southern hospitality (one thing you need to understand about NY is that there are too many people in the city to be saying hi to everyone). However, Atlanta's public schools are horrific and unless you can afford private schools, your child won't recieve much of an education at all. I've given up on the idea of having children as long as I live down here. I also encounter some of the dumbest people I've ever met down here on a daily basis, so dumb I feel my own brain cells are popping the longer I stay down here. I know it's bad for you anyway but I'll never be able to pick up some fast food ever again unless I want to deal with having to explain what I want for 20 minutes cause they just don't get it only to find out after they repeated my order back to me correctly (finally) that they still forgot half the bag. I swear they don't learn from the same drivers manual as up north, worst drivers I've ever encountered in my life. Going out every day I have a great fear of some moron who doesn't understand the basic rules of the road crashing into me cause they didn't know what they were doing. It's bad enough that 75% of the drivers you see are either talking or texting on a cellphone when they suck at driving as it is. I can't wait to get back up to NY where things are always happening... atlanta's acutal city area closes at 5pm? are you kidding me? I plan on going back up north once I gain some equity in my house and can sell it to buy a nice place in Pennsylvania (where there is trees and hospitality) so i can commute to the city and have the best of both worlds.
ps. It's not like you can find a man down here either as a black female. Maybe it's different for other races here but it's nearly impossible to find yourself a black man who doesn't wear his pants around his knees and an extra long grandma nightgown white tee, and maybe even has some big goals in life. Glad I had my man before I came here, otherwise I'd be a lesbian like most of the black females I know here who've just given up.
