The 25 or so left are scattered all over the map. Getting a consistent crowd out is next to impossible as an isolated venue.
In the last 6 years no other industry has been more devastated by the whims of the establishment.
If anybody is justified in a quality of life complaint it would be the entertainment industry.
At some point residents have to start accepting some responsibility for choosing to live in an urban area.
It is a shame that Bank of America and the City support organizations that generate less than 10% of their operating costs through ticket sales.
Non-Profit organizations should have some sort of operational criteria that demonstrates that they are at least trying to break even. Seems like Non-Profit is a goal more than a status for the 'traditional' arts organizations that waste resources that could be better spent on new or at least different ideas.
