Re: “Greg Curbow

Only months before Gregs regetable passing,I took an early 80s usa custom HM series Strat that was in pieces. My parents had bougt me this beautiful black 24 fret custom shop Fender Strat for my last road gig.All fingers pointed to Curbos strings and arts, just up hwy 515 from my home in Ellijay GA. When Simon, the counter attendent called that my Strat was ready,I left work to go pick up my prized guitar. After examining the Strat,I was amazed at how precice the intonation and action was.Truly the guitar had never played so effortlessly,as if it played its self all I had to do was hang on.I asked to meet this magic man Simon took me down the hall where I saw contless autographed pictures of famous artists, catching my eye formost was Jimmy Page of Ledzepplin.Thare he sat at his work bench, delved in his art,he turnd and we introduced ourselvs, and autographed the peghead of this now lightning bolt Strat. That makes my guitar priceless to me now. thank You, GREG CURBOW. your legacy lives still. Robby Griggs Ellijay GA.
