I fully enjoyed my experience at Taverna Plaka when I ate there two nights ago. I'm surprised to see the negative comments left about Taverna Plaka. I suppose one thing that could account for my experience is that the restaurant is under new management, Greek management I should add a bartender told me. I had the saganaki, the spinach pies, the roasted lamb which was on special, and the walnut cake for desert. I enjoyed all of the food, and my friend agreed with me on that. But that was not really the kicker that got me to love the restaurant. The waiters and customers dance the zorba, there are belly dancers who entertain, and we saw a lucky birthday girl standing on her table while half the restaurant sung for her. Overall it was not only good food but a fun atmosphere.
